Via jj's blog and the always mysterious Sincerely Yours record label comes a new special club track featuring Elin Kastlander (from jj). Last Donut of the Night from Tuomas Vauhkonen on Vimeo . Stones Throw held a contest where people could pick any track from the label's catalog and make their own video edit to go along with it. Tuomas Vauhkonen and Jeremias Nieminen produced this visual for Dilla's Last Donut of the Night , one of my all-time favorite recordings, from the late producer's widely celebrated, classic 2006 album Donuts .

Here's a new track from The Weeknd most likely off his upcoming mixtape, which is entitled Thursday and rumored to be dropping this Thursday (6/30). The stellar production on this Drake remix, with its' moody synths and sparse drums creates a dark backdrop for his striking vocals (via The Weeknd's tumblr ) MP3: The Weeknd: Trust Issues (Remix)

New Wilco for your weekend. "I Might" is the first taste of the band's eighth LP, recently titled The Whole Love (due in September). The track is paired with a cover of Nick Lowe's "I Love My Label," a fitting b-side considering that this is the first music to be released on the group's new self-owned record label, dBpm Records. Stream both tracks below and pre-order the new single here (via The Line Of Best Fit ).
Someone's been listening to David Bowie... Check out this new Coldplay track titled Moving To Mars. For those of you who were not impressed with their first single , this might be a bit more up your alley. Check out the studio version of Major Minus after the jump.
Here's a visual for an Exile-produced cut from Co$$'s debut album, Before I Awoke, which is available here (via 2dopeboyz ).

A while back we posted a video of Bon Iver performing a Bonnie Raitt cover on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon . Well, now a studio version of the sad sad sad song is being released as a B-side to Calgary. This guy can do no wrong... Listen on SoundCloud

Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks are joined by Stones Throw 's Mayer Hawthorne on their second single from their heavily anticipated album When Fish Ride Bicycles , which is set for a July 12th release on Green Label Sound . Fittingly Washed Out dropped a summer anthem on the first day of summer. Is it July 12th yet? In case you missed it take a listen to the first single off of Within and Without , Eyes Be Closed, here and listen / download to the new jam below. MP3: Washed Out: Amor Fati

I'm far from an expert on modern jazz, but California-based The Mattson 2 has been a personal favorite these past few years. Comprised of twins Jared Mattson (guitar) and Jonathan Mattson (drums), the duo combine breezy jazz with elements of retro surf and post-punk rock. While the brothers have been on the map a while now (thanks in large part to artist/filmmaker Thomas Campbell's surf films ), last week marked the release of their proper debut LP, Feeling Hands . Released by Campbell's Galaxia Records , the new album is full [...]

A Neptunes-produced track that evidently missed the cut for The Ladykiller. MP3: Cee-Lo Green: Bridges

While I cannot speak for the rest of the Sloane contributers, The Weeknd's House of Ballons remains one of my favorite albums released this year. Adding to the sweetness, the R&B group slated two more releases for this calendar year, the first called Thursday . Below take a listen to the first glimpse of Thursday . "The Birds (Part 1)" picks up right where House of Balloons left off. Keep your eyes pealed and your eyes open for more Weeknd songs during the next few months. MP3: The Weeknd: Birds (Part 1)

Here's a new track off Curren$y's upcoming album, Weekend at Burnie's , which will be released June 28th on Warner Bros. The laid back beat was produced by Monsta Beatz, who handled a lot of the production on Curren$y's 2008 album, This Ain't No Mixtape . Curren$y's signature winding flow and charismatic southern growl is on point as usual. Evidently, there is some "Wizard of Oz / Dark Side of the Moon-style sync-up of Weekend at Burnie's and the film that inspired it, 19892s Weekend at Bernie's, is in the works and will hit the web soon" [...]

New CYSY song released yesterday that will feature on their upcoming album, Hysterical , out in September. Catchy tune and the strings are a nice touch. Give up your email for the song or stream it below.

Full props to The Music Ninja for bringing my attention to this mind numbingly addicting track from Swedish artist Tove Styrke . Sweede met sweede as the track was later remixed by Familjen . The song is a bit dated (from 2010), but it's worth reposting to get you through hump day. Start humming along. MP3: Tove Styrke: Million Pieces (Familjen Remix)
Check out the official video for Bon Iver's "Calgary." Have you heard the whole album yet? Stream it here ... its worth it.

If you enjoy The Lord Of The Rings , be prepared to clean out your underwear. Some guy who calls himself Pogo has made a song entirely out of sounds from the LotR movies... and the result is pretty damn catchy. If you like this track head on over to his website to hear more. He remixes everything from Winnie The Pooh to The Wizard of Oz. Color me impressed. MP3: Pogo: Murmurs From Middle Earth

We never tire of a good RAC remix and as usual they chose their base song well. Something about Charlie Fink's harmonies work perfectly with RAC's styling. Download the track below. MP3: Noah And The Whale: Tonight's The Kind Of Night (RAC Remix)
