Last Donut of the Night from Tuomas Vauhkonen on Vimeo . Stones Throw held a contest where people could pick any track from the label's catalog and make their own video edit to go along with it.  Tuomas Vauhkonen and Jeremias Nieminen produced this visual for Dilla's Last Donut of the Night , one of my all-time favorite recordings, from the late producer's widely celebrated, classic 2006 album Donuts .

Curren$y: This is the Life Here's a new track off Curren$y's upcoming album, Weekend at Burnie's , which will be released June 28th on Warner Bros.  The laid back beat was produced by Monsta Beatz, who handled a lot of the production on Curren$y's 2008 album,  This Ain't No Mixtape .  Curren$y's signature winding flow and charismatic southern growl is on point as usual.  Evidently, there is some "Wizard of Oz / Dark Side of the Moon-style sync-up of Weekend at Burnie's and the film that inspired it, 19892s Weekend at Bernie's, is in the works and will hit the web soon" [...]
