This song is like breath of fresh, cool air.  Princess Music is a group of classically-trained musicians who have banded together to create what they call “music for princesses,” which ends up sounding like the folk sensibilities of Sufjan Stevens combined with the vocal stylings of Dirty Projectors. Tanlines has mellowed out “Eyes Wide Open” (a personal favorite of mine). The original is upbeat, pulsing, feels permanently on edge.
