The duo from Brazil, Felguk, make some great Electro House. They gained a lot of attention this past summer from Insomniac using their song, "2Nite," for the 2010 Electric Daisy Carnival trailer . Triarchy is a group of 3 producers/Dj's, from Miami, that are just starting to get support from big electronic artists such as Tiesto. The song in this post, "The 100 Islands," is a mix of the vocals from Pendulum's, "The Island," and the song, "100," that Rank 1, Nic Chagall, and Wippenberg did together. So it's a cloudy Friday here in Los Angeles and it kind of makes me want to listen to some mellower music. Yesterday, I stumbled upon an Ellie Goulding cover of the Temper Trap's hit, "Sweet Disposition". Ellie's rendition includes some chill piano and acoustic guitar providing support for her powerful, soothing, vocals. Mt. Eden is a Dubstep and Drum and Bass Producer from the far away land, New Zealand. You may know him for his excellent track, " Sierra Leone ," from which he gained a large amount of notoriety. Despite Mt. Eden's talent, he does not have very much material out and seems to have been keeping under the radar with the exception of the Winterfresh Music Festival . Today, I rediscovered the Tiny Dancer remix that he had done a couple of years ago, but he has been dropping it in his "unhooked" sets, and I thought this might be news to some. John Dahlback is a 25-year-old House producer from Stockholm, Sweden. He incorporates Electro, Techno and Progressive into his music which gives him a cool unique sound. Today, I was doing my daily search for new music and as I was sampling songs, John Dahlback's latest release caught my ear. Chromeo released their third full-length album, Business Casual , back in September. You may have already heard some the groovin' tracks on the album such as, "Night By Night, "Don't Turn The Lights On," or "Hot Mess". The last song mentioned, "Hot Mess," has received an excellent update with the addition of La Roux and her distinctive, awesome, vocals. I am proud to say that I was lucky enough to attend Bassnectar's mind-blowing show at the Wiltern last month. Since then, Bassnectar has been killing it around the United States and now in Europe. He even took the time to stop by the BBC with Annie Nightingale and recorded a fresh mix which will give you just a tiny taste, I repeat, just a tiny taste, of his ridiculous sets that he has been dropping throughout his tour. At Hard Haunted Mansion this year I luckily made it in just in time for the end of Calvin Harris's set so I got a little taste of his DJ prowess. He is definitely someone I want to see again soon. The fact that he sings on his own tracks is awesome and definitely sets him apart from the hundreds of other world-famous producer/DJ's who typically get other artists to sing for them. Greg Gillis, also known as, Girl Talk, is a Dj and remixer from Pittsburgh. He is arguably the best mash up artist around and is known for his insane live shows. He just released his fifth full-length release, All Day , and put it up for free download! Girl Talk just started his latest tour on the 12th and will be playing shows across the United States until the end of March 2011. If you can make one of his shows, you should go! The other day Deadmau5 tweeted, "okay, todays the day… im feelin inspired. time to one up strobe. enough of this resting shit." If you "like" Deadmau5 on Facebook or follow his twitter you are probably aware of the result of that inspiration, the song which he named, "Get In The Cart, Pig". It is a a bit on the trance-y side but it is great nonetheless, and a must for any mau5 fan! If you have not already listened to Nero's BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix , I recommend you do so! If you have listened to the Essential Mix, you might have heard Nero's debut of an unreleased remix of the N.E.R.D & Daft Punk song, "Hypnotize U". Nero, time and time again, proves their expertise in the Dubstep genre, so the fact that they produced this excellent tune was no surprise. You're not going to find this non-rip version on many other blogs, so check it out and be sure to buy the full 320 version when it gets released! [...]

December 7th, the day Deadmau5 will release his highly anticipated album, 4�4=12 , is steadily approaching. Although many of the songs on the album have already been heard, there are a few that have not been. A song that Deadmau5 released today, "Right This Second", was premiered on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 show about a week ago. It starts off with an awesome sequence of ascending notes eventually reaching a climax, then hitting hard with a darker pounding beat which later unites with the sequence in the intro. Check it out! My camping trip out to Joshua Tree this weekend was a nice break from our fast paced society, and one musician, Douglas Appling, who goes by the name of Emancipator, helped me enjoy my vacation thoroughly.
