Being a trained singer, it's very hard to impress me if you're a female vocalist. You should see me on American Idol nights- I give Simon a run for his money as the bitchy judge. UK's Hot Chip released their new single "Over and Over" earlier this week in the UK, preparing for the release of their new (HIGHLY! ANTICIPATED!) album, The Warning. No it's not a new look for itunes, it's actually something quite different. Songbird is what it's called and has been nicknamed the "itunes killer" on a few sites. I wouldn't go so far as to call it that yet, but after reading the features it has I was pretty impressed. The fact that it can play any file (OGG, WMA, MP3, FLAC, etc.), different themes to choose from, and has an integrated web search is pretty neat. I especially love that you can view any web page as a playlist and even play them as a playlist. [...]
