Well it appears that the unexpected release of Jai Paul's debut album over the weekend was, in fact, too good to be true. Jai Paul has confirmed this morning that the Bandcamp upload that appeared online over the weekend is an illegal leak. Reportedly, the self-titled album was illegally leaked after Paul had his laptop stolen (thus the reason for no track names). Paul had this to say via Twitter: To confirm: demos on bandcamp were not uploaded by me, this is not my debut album. Please don't buy. Statement to follow later. Thanks, Jai — Jai Paul (@jai_paul) April [...]
Jai Paul is a British producer and songwriter from Rayners Lane, United Kingdom. Paul's first demo recording, "BTSTU," has been a hit ever since its initial release back in 2007, and last year Paul followed up with his second demo track, "Jasmine." Considering Paul signed with XL Recordings back in 2010, it was just a matter of time before he released new music, and on April 13 it appears that he did just that with the unexpected and unannounced release of a sixteen-track album via his Bandcamp page. Stream the entire album below, as well as his 2012 track "Jasmine," [...]

Following last year's incredible track "Killing Switch," and their latest single "Luminous Blue," Stockholm's Last Lynx has released their Ocean Reels EP. In addition to the above-mentioned singles, the eight-track EP features four previously-unreleased tracks, and two remixes of "Killing Switch." The EP is unfortunately not available yet for purchase in the U.S. iTunes store, but I would expect it to be added very soon. In the mean time, stream the four previously-unreleased tracks below. Jonathan Bates last released a full album under his moniker Big Black Delta in 2011, and on April 30 he'll follow it up with a self-titled sophomore release. "Side Of The Road" is the first single from the aforementioned LP, and I'd expect the remaining tracks from the former Mellowdrone vocalist/bassist to be equally impressive. Website // Facebook Page
Following the amazing singles "Retrograde" and "Digital Lion," England's James Blake released his sophomore LP today, two years after the release of his self-titled debut album. The deluxe version of Overgrown features eleven tracks, and each one is filled with his signature production and mellow vocals. "Take a Fall For Me" features the Wu-Tang Clan's RZA, and includes the only guest vocals on the album. Other stand out tracks for me include "Life Round Here," "Dlm," and "Overgrown." Stream them below, then grab the entire LP via iTunes. More from Overgrown: Website // Facebook Page
With just two weeks before the official release date, Kid Cudi's forthcoming album, Indicud, has leaked onto the web. Cudi doesn't seem too concerned, however, considering that today he spread a link to a stream of “Solo Dolo Pt. II,” one of the album’s most anticipated tracks featuring fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar. Pre-order the album (which officially drops on April 23) via the iTunes link below. Website // Facebook Page
Each day I go through multiple music submissions from up-and-coming artists, as well as their promoters and fans.
