"Burst" is the thumping new jam from Peaches produced by XXXChage and Boys Noize . It was added to Soundcloud without much fanfare or explanation. Though I think it's safe to assume that there's more new Peaches where this came from. Get ready, the naughty and nice disco-dance-dame is back.

The new video for the late Joey Ramone's "New York City" pays tribute to the iconic rocker and his 'place', with New Yorkers all rocking leather jackets in Ramone's fashion. Alcoholic Faith Mission's new video "Throw Us To The Wolves" off their Ask Me This LP, follows in the footsteps of their other innovative creations. Their fifth video off the LP, their past videos have won awards at the Los Angeles Film Festival for Best Cinematography and Excellence. Princess , the mind-blowing Prince cover band fronted by Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum , took over Brooklyn Bowl last week to make it (purple) rain. Backed by The Roots , it goes without saying that the night was monumentally epic. Maya rocked an embellished trench coat, and brought the sass, sex appeal, and yes, vocal chops worthy of The Artist. Her accomplice Gretchen Lieberum, was every bit 80's in a flirty cop outfit, complete with white lace cutoff gloves. The two of them busted out impeccably [...]

Kimbra just debuted the white wash video for "Come Into My Head", where she tries to restrain herself during an evaluation in a mental institution. Flash to inside her mind and the screen turns red, as she leaps and jerks in tandem with the rage building inside her. What becomes of her evaluation? You'll just have to see. One things for sure, no patient has ever donned such stylish digs in a mental institution before.

Rush Midnight is the solo project of Russ Manning (the former bass player of Twin Shadow ) whose debut EP, +1 drops October 30th. While he may be stepping out of the 'shadow' and into the spotlight, Rush Midnight didn't completely detach himself from his old band-member; Twin Shadow (George Lewis Jr.) produced multiple tracks on the release. Meanwhile, Rush Midnight's new video for "The Night Was Young Enough" is a sweaty, sultry dance clip (think 'Fame' meets 'Call On Me') that's sure to have viewers craving [...]

Turns out Kenneth Cappello, who shot a score of stunning photographs of The Kills (exhibited at NYC's Milk gallery last month and documented in his book The Kills 'Dream & Drive' ) is also savvy behind another sort of camera: He directed the video for "Wild Charms" off The Kills' latest album Blood Pressures . The dimly lit, minimalist video spotlights a smoking Jamie Hince, caught in a moment of reflection. All the world's a stage and he's giving the soliloquy.

Continuing with posts on artists whose new albums I can't wait to hear (that was a little wordy I know), GRIZZLY BEAR's Shields can now be streamed in full on NPR's First Listen ! The album drops September 18, and based on the initial singles "Sleeping Ute" and "Yet Again", I expect Shields to be just as transcendent as their knockout debut, Veckatimest. Who's inexplicably excited for the release of Ellie Goulding's Halcyon ? The songstres 'lights' up the music industry once again, when her sophomore album drops on October 9th. Goulding's debut single "Anything Could Happen" doesn't disappoint, with cascading synths and a glittering dance beat. The 'starry eyed' singer looks completely angelic, as she's meant to be, in the glorious new video. Check it out.
