Found this over at GvsB , ol' Soma had it up on his computer, forgot I fav'd the shit a day ago or something. The laundry mat sucks, I'm gonna go ahead and say always, but this San Fran producer's electronic jams definitely do not. FANG has me stumbling over too much good music the past few days - four tracks from Smooth's " Fang Life No Other ", then over double that a coupla days later with Ramel Shakur 's "Enchanted." "Enchanted" will most likely be taking up the majority of my listening time for a while. It's one of those hip-hop works that gives you no reason to stop listening. That next song comes up and  you're like "oh daaamn smooth flow on 'Magnificent'"  or "fuck I love those horns and hook on 'All or Nothin.'" And [...]

You can't just adopt the name Smooth unless you mean business. Smooth, smooth business. Luckily FANG 's own Smooth suitably owns his name over these four dreamy beats. The first time "Hater I.D." played I did an audio double-take and proceeded to rant and rave about how cool it was. "Be You" is pure inspiration. All of these will get stuck in your head on repeat. Macklin Underdown aka Swaglin Swaggerswag aka fthrsn just forcibly removed my socks from my feet, while my  boots  were on. fthrsn is a piece of the Ann Arbor-founded GRL MTN / Zen Tapes group that  I keep talking about , and even though these bros should already be on the 'map' I'd say this EP should make their icon way more visible. The best thing about  middle school swag  is that you can feel each track as it comes in. They're all made to move to; you can tap them out with your headphones on, do your little I-like-this-way-more-than-I'm- letting-on [...]

For those of you not familiar with West-Baltimore Slimestyle, and I'm guessing that's about all of you, you're in for a treat. My friends are already heralding this as the most listenable thing DJ Dog Dick has put out and I'd have to agree. I became aquainted with Ramz from P&P, after a falling out I haven't really seen him since his release of Quite Frankly. This track is really well produced though, Frank has a solid message going on with the video n the lyrics. I dig the noose, it shows (i mean, a lot) but that you don't need a million bucks [...]

Carol dropped this off a couple days back, v pleasant new jam from White Blush. Starting off very clean then bringing in some big synths. It might even fit the drag genre. Sounds a little like something oOoOO could be behind. I like this direction for White Blush. She's definitely got some things going on since the release of her free ep  just last month.
