Kendrick easily wins the gold medal in this one, the dude just self-destructed. This song was actually on the Birdman & Mack Maine mixtape Billionaire Minds which was released back in November. I just found out about this track because the video for it was released last week. First things first, Key Wane did an amazing job with the keys for this track. This one was released through The Syndicate's G.O.O.D. 2: (Getting Out Our Dreams) mixtape. Sounds a little rough around the edges. Not too many details beyond that, hopefully a final version pops up on an official project. Tyga seemed to be on a video roll, he released two visuals from Careless World recently. Big Sean molds so well into the beat for "I'm Gone". Visual for "Still Got It" is after the jump. I love the throw back theme they did for it. Careless World has sold over 199K so far.

"I'm a Mac Pro with an afro/Move in silence like a .gif" I went through three phases during my initial listening of this song: 1. Denial 2. Confusion 3. Weird dancing phase in my parents' dry-cleaner. As hilarious as this song is, it's twice as catchy, and Gambino's verse goes HARD (even though it's about goat intercourse and what not, so many one-liners). I'm really loving his tweaked flow.

RAC has had their share of coverage on TQF, but never like this. Usually one of their respective members grabs a track they like and remix it. This time the founder of RAC (André Allen Anjos) enlisted Penguin Prison to supply a million dollar hook over original production that's just as melodic and catchy as it has been in the past. Woody recently released a remix album consisting of 11 tracks that Kanye West had his hand in some sort of way. His remix of "Wouldn't Get Far" has been making the rounds and for good reason, his re-working of the sample Kanye used respired some new fresh air into throwback making it near infectious. I don't think I could begin to describe how much I love Passion Pit and the sound they poured onto the world with their album Manners in 2009. Finally, after over a year of being pushed back, their second album Gossamer is nearly ready for consumption by the hoards of electronic/indie lovers who have been patiently waiting for their follow up. "Take a Walk" is an energy filled optimistic lead single that's missing some very distinct Passion Pit qualities like the singer's distinct edgy falsetto which turned off a lot mainstream listeners. Here's another artist who I haven't been the most fond of, but after this I can't even hate. His mixtape Dreamcashers 2 will drop tomorrow, I might check it out. It's a good time for Meek Mill fans, his next installment will probably increase the fan base even more. I can't believe that this kid is only 14 years old. The second I have a child I'm enrolling them into either vocal or basketball lessons so I can get that rich quick money. G.O.O.D. Music share their 2 cents with Cheif Keef (16 year old from Chicago) and go in over his song "I Don't Like". Interestingly, Keef had no connection to Kanye before this remix, and the sole reason why this connection even happened was because Kanye heard the song and wanted to remix it. I'm still not sold on the hype over 2 Chainz or even why high marquee artists are so excited to collaborate with him. Or why Mikey Fresh texted to tell me that he killed this track.
