Gambino went on a rant today, 140 characters at a time on Twitter . I encourage everyone to take the time out and read it, especially fans of Hip-Hop who feel like artist today aren't as sincere as they used to be. That's honestly a conversation for another day, right now I don't have much spare time but I wanted to get the new Gambino track out. I absolutely love the artwork that was on his site today, not because of the artist it depicts Gambino looking up to be, but how it depicts Gambino. I'll [...]
Maybe I'm just a hater but I cringed when I found out Left Boy's latest track used this sample. This is despite the fact that I find the her song pretty catchy, but nothing that I could ever see myself sharing on here, and then Left Boy dropped this. Bastard. Video Games is still my jam. I hope he blows up this year, 2012 is still young. Download Left Boy Call Me Maybe (featuring Carly Rae Jepsen) Download Left Boy Call Me Maybe [...]
Kendrick easily wins the gold medal in this one, the dude just self-destructed. This song was actually on the Birdman & Mack Maine mixtape Billionaire Minds which was released back in November. I just found out about this track because the video for it was released last week. I'm downloading the tape now to see if any of the features are worth keeping, judging by how I didn't even hear of the tape as a whole, it probably isn't much more than a flop... Or I'm just really [...]

First things first, Key Wane did an amazing job with the keys for this track. This one was released through The Syndicate's G.O.O.D. 2: (Getting Out Our Dreams) mixtape. Sounds a little rough around the edges. Not too many details beyond that, hopefully a final version pops up on an official project. Tyga seemed to be on a video roll, he released two visuals from Careless World recently. Big Sean molds so well into the beat for "I'm Gone". Visual for "Still Got It" is after the jump. I love the throw back theme they did for it. Careless World has sold over 199K so far.

"I'm a Mac Pro with an afro/Move in silence like a .gif" I went through three phases during my initial listening of this song: 1. Denial 2. Confusion 3. Weird dancing phase in my parents' dry-cleaner. As hilarious as this song is, it's twice as catchy, and Gambino's verse goes HARD (even though it's about goat intercourse and what not, so many one-liners). I'm really loving his tweaked flow.

RAC has had their share of coverage on TQF, but never like this. Usually one of their respective members grabs a track they like and remix it. This time the founder of RAC (André Allen Anjos) enlisted Penguin Prison to supply a million dollar hook over original production that's just as melodic and catchy as it has been in the past. This track is very impressive for a first go at making something from scratch. I hope there's more to come. Download RAC Hollywood (featuring Penguin Prison) [...]

Woody recently released a remix album consisting of 11 tracks that Kanye West had his hand in some sort of way. His remix of "Wouldn't Get Far" has been making the rounds and for good reason, his re-working of the sample Kanye used respired some new fresh air into throwback making it near infectious. Great work. Check out the rest of the mixtape here . Download Game Wouldn't Get Far (featuring Kanye West) (Woody Remix) Download Game Wouldn't Get Far (featuring [...]

I don't think I could begin to describe how much I love Passion Pit and the sound they poured onto the world with their album Manners in 2009. Finally, after over a year of being pushed back, their second album Gossamer is nearly ready for consumption by the hoards of electronic/indie lovers who have been patiently waiting for their follow up. "Take a Walk" is an energy filled optimistic lead single that's missing some very distinct Passion Pit qualities like the singer's distinct edgy falsetto which turned off a lot mainstream listeners. [...]

Here's another artist who I haven't been the most fond of, but after this I can't even hate. His mixtape Dreamcashers 2 will drop tomorrow, I might check it out. It's a good time for Meek Mill fans, his next installment will probably increase the fan base even more. What a beautifully put together visual. I think I'm revisiting 2010 and listening to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy for the rest of the day.
I can't believe that this kid is only 14 years old. The second I have a child I'm enrolling them into either vocal or basketball lessons so I can get that rich quick money. Interscope has already signed the young magician. He's got a ridiculous voice at such a young age. Also am I the only one who thinks he looks like Charles Barkley ? I hope Ahsan never sees this...

G.O.O.D. Music share their 2 cents with Cheif Keef (16 year old from Chicago) and go in over his song "I Don't Like". Interestingly, Keef had no connection to Kanye before this remix, and the sole reason why this connection even happened was because Kanye heard the song and wanted to remix it. I'd be so stoked if that happened to me, apparently Keef wasn't all that shocked though: "I wasn't surprised," Keef continued. "I was just like, 'Kanye? Kanye wanna get on 'I Don't Like'? But I could understand it, [...]

I'm still not sold on the hype over 2 Chainz or even why high marquee artists are so excited to collaborate with him. Or why Mikey Fresh texted to tell me that he killed this track. But if this is the by product of any influence that he could potentially have on a track then I don't know why I'm even complaining. In a lot of ways, "No Lie" is the reason why many people listen to rap. To get that ignant self-persona devour you for 4 minutes that has you confusing yourself for a super [...]

If you didn't know, DJ Carnage is the same producer who did the production for the A$AP Rocky and Theophilus London posted earlier . He's back with some ignorant verses from him and G-Eazy for your speakers. This was released earlier this week but I wanted to save it for the weekend . Ahh screw it: Download DJ Carnage Loaded (featuring G-Eazy) (Remix) Download DJ Carnage Loaded (featuring G-Eazy) (Remix)

One win for the ScHoolboy Q verse and another for the smooth and classy Chuck Inglish production. From what I know this is just a joint single by Q and TiRon , not from a project or anything of the sort. Nas gets real with this listen from his next album titled Life is Good which is set to be in our hands July 17. Produced by No I.D. ! Check out his video for "The Don" above.
Looks like a video that was a blast to make from start to finish, goes along nicely with the tone that the sample sets. Chiddy Bang's debut album Breakfast has sold over 49K as of March 2012.
The most boss president ever.
