Probably most don't wake up on a Saturday at 5:30 am but if you have a daughter that wants to wake up then that is what you do. Sitting down with a cup of coffee and starting up the Mancester United and Liverpool match I saw that our dude Leo Zero dropped a couple great remixes. This one of Lana Del Rey's track "Born to Die" stands out. Check it out.

Welcome to the weekend. First track is a remix of Miike Snow by London's Jacques Lu Cont. Miike Snow - Paddling Out (Jacques Lu Cont Remix) by TRACQUES The second track we are really loving is Olso's Todd Terje's track "Inspector Norse." A brilliant building house/disco track that is really new but new enough for us. Check it out if you haven't yet. Stellar stuff. The final track is from track featuring South African Spoek Mathambo along with Riky Rick by Fast [...]

Jump into your dancin' pants and throw a handful of glitter into the air, 'cause it's time for the next Fare Soldi mix. Dancing With The Monsters 2012 is definitely a bad mama jama. Oh, Fare Soldi...promise me you'll never change. Also, kick off a big US tour already, would ya?

A bit tied down with school doing regression analysis and correlation and other statistics type stuff but ran across this nice remix of Daft Punk's "Something About You" by Cherokee that I thought I would pass along. Nothing new but that doesn't make it completely enjoyable. Check it out.

New record by Lindstrom is out tomorrow! I was able to get an advanced copy of the record and its good. It is very different than his debut album Where you go I go to released four years ago. Think more synth, funk, sweeping opening film type stuff ("No Release") and almost progressive rock type sounds. "De Javu" still stands out as my favorite track on the record with perhaps "Hina" second. Regardless just like his last album its a journey from beginning to end that begs the listener to join along. Great stuff. Check out some remixes... [...]

Union is OJ and Gold a production duo based in Paris France. Their new record Analogtronics just came out on Fat Beat Records. Union is an intelligent mix of hip-Hop and 70's Jazz Funk. Check out a great track featuring Talib Kweli and Sly Johnson. Nice remix of Phoenix here as well... Time Leak feat. Talib Kweli and Sly Johnson by Unionmusic Phoenix - Fences (Union remix) by Unionmusic

Welcome to the weekend. Our first track is a remix off of St. Lucia's new single "We Got it Wrong." St. Lucia is not only an awesome island (go there if you can its amazing!) its a dude from Brooklyn that makes great music. The single its a proper remix treatment by London's Fin Dow-Smith aka Starsmith. Really great synth-pop here. Check it out. St. Lucia - We Got It Wrong (Starsmith Remix) by Starsmith The third is a great track produced by our dude Ghis Poirier. Its a remix of Face-T's [...]

French duo AutoReverse released this handclappy disco explosion last month on Shiny Disco Club , and considering I'm something of a laser-guided missile when it comes to both handclaps and disco I'm a little shocked I missed it. Oh, but what matters is I found it in the end--and now you, too, can enjoy this faaaaantastic track. Free download, too.
The 2 Bears are a London-based musical duo composed of Joe Goddard (of Hot Chip fame) and Raf Rundell. They teamed up back in 2009 and their album Be Strong is their first full length record. The debut single of the record, "Work" is really awesome. Check out a remix of that track here. If you want to check out the entire record before purchasing check it out here . The 2 Bears: Work (St Etienne Remix) by The 2 Bears Bonus remix: [...]

"Now Dance" is a new single from Diskjokke for Splendour's 7" series. The spaced-out beatmaster and producer of Smalltown Supersound fame really puts together a wonderful track. The single features a remix as well. Check it out. DiskJokke - Now Dance by Splendour
Pretty great video from Avicii...reminds me of this video . Of course not as great as the latter which I really think is one of the best of all time (these two others come to mind , or I am just a sucker for videos played in reverse!).

Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas have a remix of Roxy Music's track "Avalon" originally released in 1982. A winding spaced out (do they do any other kind?) electronic track. For those that don't know Bryan Ferry headed the band Roxy Music back in the 1970s. You can see a video of Mr. Ferry performing the song live back in 1982 . Avalon (Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas Version) by BryanFerry Still really love this rendition of Ferry's track "Alphaville" remixed by London based dude Leo Zero. [...]

Some repeat offenders here this week. The first is an excellent remix of Boys Get Hurt's track "Can't Wait" by our boy Bit Funk. Boys Get Hurt - Can't Wait (Bit Funk Remix) by Bit Funk Another artist featured here many times before is DCup aka Australia's Duncan MacLennan. This is an exceptional remixed dance number by Gotye. Don't miss it. Gotye - Someone I Used To Know (Taste Of Honey edit by Dcup) by dcupmusic The final track by [...]
Great new video from Hip Hop duo Kidz in the Hall. "I Swear" is off their 2011 record, Ocassion . Check it out.

Italian producer Fabio Brocato, AKA Broke One , dropped this superbly housey remix of Groovefinder's "All This Love That I'm Giving". So smoooooth. Bonus Broke One:

Cruising the neon-washed strip in a white 1989 Lamborghini Countach , That's the first thing that popped into my head when I heard this new track from LA's own Plastic Plates . He calls this song'Toys'--maybe because of the toy piano in melody, I wonder?--but this song shows off this talented producer's utterly fantastic synth work. With no Lambo to cruise with, I'll just have to flip this song on repeat and keep daydreaming. Toys by PLASTiC PLATES

Snowing like crazy here in Chicago. Unlike Seattle we actually have snow plows. We also benefit from not having any hills. Anyways lets get to the some great music for your weekend. First is just one in a series of awesome cuts from the duo Oliver. We love ourselves some U-Tern over here at Analog Giant. Oliver - Dirty Talk by weareoliver The next track is from another duo. Casual Encounters is a group made up of Shawn Mac and Chas Bronz who are based in Boston and [...]
Best blurb..."Maybe this is fun? Maybe it isn't." I am glad Paul calling Santorum "Overly sensitive" made the cut.
New Yorker Matthew Dear has a long track record of making great electronic music. His new five-track EP, Headcage is out now on Ghostly International. The music is great but what might be even better is the series of abstract videos that have been made to go along with the record. You can listen to the entire record here . Check it out.

You guys already know TEED pulls off some of the very finest remixes (that remix of Katy Perry's Firework , of all things, was on repeat for weeks), so it should come as no surprise that his latest is in fine form. This time the Feathered One takes on Jonquil 's 'It's my Part' and will appear as a B Side on that forthcoming single, coming Feb 27th. Speaking on Jonquil, they are both A) talented and B) pictured above, so check them out. Jonquil - It's My [...]
