Jean Tonique - Sunshine Cleaning

Jean Tonique - Sunshine Cleaning Here's the funky Frenchness from Parisian producer Jean Tonique. I think his own description of this fine track can't really be topped: " Summer is here in Paris, it's time to clear our minds and start to think about how to spend the perfect holidays." Happy Memorial Day to everyone in U.S. and beyond.

Music for your weekend.

Music for your weekend. Another Friday and another excellent TEED track to share with you. The latest is "Stronger" which is an excellent up tempo dance track that you have to hear. Nice jam for the holiday weekend. Track is due out for release on June 11th. The next track is a remix of Imagine Dragons' track "It's Time" by Penguin Prison. Another uptempo electronic track that should keep your holiday weekend in full swing. Check it out. Sticking with the Penguin Prison theme I want to share another great track. "Hollywood" is a track by RAC featuring Penguin Prison on vocals. The Magician [...]

New Onra Song + EP on Fool's Gold Records

New Onra Song + EP on Fool's Gold Records In anticipation for Onra's new EP Deep In The Night dropping June 12th on Fool's Gold Records - the track, "L.O.V.E." has been released today. That dark, synthy, funky kinda l.o.v.e. Oh and if you're in Seattle, he'll be playing at The Crocodile August 11th in support for this new EP!

Classixx - Fingerpaint-Lunar

Classixx - Fingerpaint-Lunar Frankly, L.A.'s own Classixx doesn't get nearly enough airplay here on the Giant. This fantastically talented production duo isn't just about creative spelling, as they prove once again with this brilliant poolside slow jam. I was already mulling over doing something drastic this summer like buying a white suit, but I'd say this track put me over the edge. That's the power of Classixx.

Music from David August.

Music from David August. Looking just shy of 12 German producer David August has a deft ear for remixes. He is scheduled to release a 4 track EP soon on the Hamburg label, Diynamic Music. Looking forward to treating myself to that. Check out some stand out remixes from the young man.

Music for your weekend.

Music for your weekend. First thing is first I have been listening to this track all week on repeat. If you haven't checked it out yet the sublime Flight Facilities released their new track "With You" featuring Grovesnor. Its incredible. Not "Foreign Language" incredible but very very close. I was not familiar with Grovesnor before listening to this track but all of a sudden he is all over the place. There is another fantastic remix by Hatchback of his track "No Doubt About It." Really great. The final track is from another regular, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (TEED) with [...]

Excellent work from Classixx.

Excellent work from Classixx. Classixx the LA duo is one of my favorite remix production outfits. They consistantly produce some of the most mellow remix jams out there. This remix of "You Can't Run From My Love" by Monk and Peaches is superb. Such a great summer track. I read somebody call it "mingle music" and I think that is spot on. Check it out!

Mr. Gonzo - Wild Shoes

Mr. Gonzo - Wild Shoes Have a listen to this nu-disco jam from Paris-based producer Mr. Gonzo. Aside from the excellent name, the track's got a great Ed Banger-esque vibe to it. Would also make a great montage song. Just sayin'. Bonus Gonzo Both tracks are from the upcoming "Dance on You" EP which should come out on the 14th.

The Latest from A-Trak, David August, and Passion Pit

The Latest from A-Trak, David August, and Passion Pit Just squeezin' in a quick Monday night wrapup of the weekend's best and brightest. I'm leading off with a remix of Flight Facilities "With You" from Berlin-based producer David August. I love me some Flight Facilities, it's true, but this is an especially nice 80s touch to this track. Next up is Passion Pit--not exactly anything underground at the moment but the track is quite choice. Finally, a mix from the always sensational A-Trak. He's helming the Fool's Gold Radio ship this time around. The mix is all over the place--how I like it.

Music for the hiatus.

Music for the hiatus. School is out and I have next week off work so we are off to Puerto Rico for the week. If you have been and have any recommendations for place to eat in San Juan or Vieques please post in the comments. Now so much for you to enjoy until my return. First is a little remix in memory of the late great MCA. The next is a nice remix by who I assume is by Skream of Theophilus London's track. Saving the best for last is a track called "Hollywood" feature an Analog Giant favorite on vocals, Penguin Prison. [...]

Kris Menace - We Are (RESET! Remix)

Kris Menace - We Are (RESET! Remix) Those crazy Italians in Reset! just posted a fresh remix of Kris Menace's 'We Are'. It's got all the bounce you could dream about. Well, OK, maybe it's possible to imagine even more bounce, but Reset! will always find a way to exceed your funky disco bounce expectations every time.

New video from Aesop Rock.

Aesop Rock - Zero Dark Thirty
New track and video from Aesop Rock's upcoming album Skelethon . The record is due out July 10th. Video is pretty great. Remarkable that this is going to be Rock's 6th studio album. Very cool he is still doing well. Labor Days remains one of my most favorite albums of all time.

Foster the People - Don't Stop (Oliver Remix)

Foster the People - Don't Stop (Oliver Remix) Coming off the audio-visual explosion that was last night's Justice performance in Seattle, I was feeling great this morning and newly inspired. Little did I know that the good vibes would just keep flowing today with Oliver's release of their new remix of Foster the People's 'Don't Stop'. It's everything you'd expect from an Oliver remix! Oh, and side note completely unrelated to Oliver: Breakbot was the opener last night for the Justice show, and he rocked it with all of his Jesus-hair glory. Bonus remix from Colour Vision today, which is random. But [...]

New music from El Huervo.

New music from El Huervo. El Huervo is Painter/musician Niklas Åkerblad. His latest album is Do Not Lay Waste to Homes . It has some haunting ambient tracks with "Rounders" and "Crush" along with some more beat driven electro tracks like "Fumes." The music is great but what might be even better is the album art he has created. He is also releasing another record at the same time ...Where You Must Rest Your Weary Bones . I know this the albums make for great studying music. Nice work and perfect timing!
Fumes by El Huervo</a&g t;

Les Loups - Rubix Minimix

Les Loups - Rubix Minimix The superfantastik Les Loups whipped up this 15 minute minimix made up entirely of music from Rubix , a producer based out of Amsterdam. For whatever reason I wasn't all that familiar with Rubix before I flipped this one on and I came away not only impressed but and at least 15% more smooth.

New Tracks from Gold Panda and Bit Funk

New Tracks from Gold Panda and Bit Funk Today, Gold Panda beamed down to earth from whatever alien world he creates his music from and jettisoned a new golden ray unto Soundcloud! Great as always, and it doesn't hurt that it's also a free download. On the subject of new tracks, the superfantastic Bit Funk also showcased a new remix today. This one is a take on Jiro Vega's electricity, which will be out at the end of the month. Pretty low key. Not the usual sound from Bit Funk, but I like it. Two tracks that aren't even a little bit similar, but [...]

Jessie Ware - 110%

Jessie Ware - 110% Jessie Ware teamed up with producer Julio Bashmore for the electro-soul, "110%".

The Latest from Shook and Strip Steve

Shook and Surkin, those magnificent electro-elves, are no strangers to Analog Giant. But when new sounds show up from both of them, it's time to drop everything and start listening. I should mention, however, that the first track today isn't from Surkin so much as it's a remix from Berlin-based producer Strip Steve of one of Surkin's own tracks. Definitely a club monster, this one. About this Shook track, some imaginary person might say...oh, hey, same-old Shook...doing that very Shook-ey electro-minimalistic perfection thing he does AGAIN (in this snarly lip [...]

Music for your weekend.

Poolside - "Do You Believe?" - out March 14th on Future Classic
It is perhaps premature to say but I am going to anyways. Breakbot is an electro-pop genius. Ed Banger just released a b-side track of his and its excellent. "Programme" is a b-side on the upcoming September 2012 release By your side .Next is a nice edit of Frank Ocean's "Whip Appeal" by SBTRKT.Final track is something a little less pop but equally excellent, its "Bye" by Lorn. Everyone have a great weekend.

MWG remixes Zelda.

Excellent work.
