Third Reel O Goethe Institut, em Lisboa, prepara-se para apresentar mais uma edição do festival Jazz im Goethe Garten. O festival realiza-se de 2 a 18 de Julho, apresentando alguns dos projectos mais criativos do jazz europeu actual. Conforme desvendou a jazz.pt, o festival apresenta seis actuações: Tim Tim por Tim Tum (dia 2); Spinifex Quintet (dia 4); Third Reel (dia 9); Geordie Approach (dia 11); Jump the Shark (16); Expressway Sketches (dia 18). Os concertos têm início às 19h, no habitual - e belíssimo - jardim do Goethe. E, claro, não faltará cerveja Erdinger, salsichas [...]

Mais um concerto no espaço APAV & Cultura: um quarteto composto pelo trompetista Luís Vicente, o saxofonista Rodrigo Amado, o contrabaixista João Hasselberg e o baterista João Lencastre actuará por volta das 19h30, naquela que é a estreia ao vivo de uma formação ligada, claro está, à área do jazz. Está quse a chegar a 9ª edição do ImaxinaSons, festival de jazz de Vigo, e mais uma vez apresenta projectos portugueses no cartaz. Despite an initial April release date, M.I.A.'s fourth studio full-length, Matangi , has been temporarily shelved for allegedly being "too positive." Over the weekend, we heard a snippet of skittering but spritely and "Me And Bobby McGee"-referencing new cut " Bring The Noize " but it was debuted in full on Zane Lowe's BBC 1 show this afternoon. At a blacktop lot in McCarren Park on Saturday, a concert plugged along and the conversation turned to befuddlement: “Is this really a free show?” What amounted to the headlining sets of the fifth annual Northside Festival was a well-executed affair.
