I don't know if you've heard of K-Os, pronounced "chaos", but his albums are amazing. His style is inbetween reggae, hip hop and jazz. Unlike most other hip hop artists, k-os is accompanied by live musicians during his public performances. He also plays the guitar, piano and other instruments in many of his songs. I was gonna wait until tommorow to post this but i am so impressed with the efforts from the group of rappers in this free release that got mailed to me just a couple of hours ago... I'm not usually big on free releases coz theyre usually garbage but this was really surprising.. Rappers Free Speech and Stereo Type with appearances from Lupe Fiasco and Plat show that hip-hop is still alive with intellectual lines, innovative production and tight flows... Havent posted alot because of school, but the main reason is because our rapidshare account is soon to run out. We have 10 days until our rapidshare account expires. I know this is a radical statement, but since i heard Brand Nubian's 'All For One' i have never herd anything else that comes close... As many of you may or may not remember the classic track 'Grand Puba, Positive and LG' featuring Positive K... Being a big Nubian fan, when i saw Positive's solo release, i grabbed it as quick as possible and i was not dissapointed... With production by Big Daddy Kane, Positive emulates many of the great artists of his time and adds his own fresh flayva... Great album from start to finish... [...]

The first thing im sure some of you die-hard fans will notice in this album is the clear absence of Cut Chemist, however Nu-Mark successfully takes control adding his own distinct sounds to the project... The album is great, not comparable to the earlier releases however it is fantastic nevertheless... It gets a 9/10 from me, just short of perfect due to a few really annoying choruses, most notabley within 'Red Hot' with the horrible line "this track is red hot, when we are rocking the spot, whether you like it or not, this [...]

I have had this album booming out my speakers for the past month and before you download PLEASE I URGE YOU TO BUY THIS IF YOU LIKE IT!!... The Roots along with The Coup are two of the best examples of artists who have stayed true to the art and really deserve credit!! Anyhow, as i was saying, this album is awesome... Dont expect anything like 'Illadelph Halflife', this group has come a long way since then and have burst back onto the scene with this masterpeice... The influences are much more rock based [...]

its been a minute...my sincerest apologies to da homie biff reagle...but scoop is back after a vacation (honeymoon to be exact...guess i gotta fedex my man biff a slice of wedding cake) trying to "blend" my way back into things... a couple of cats (dj cappel and smitty) got together and thought it would be a good idea to put some b.i.g. lyrics over frank sinatra music and vocal ad-libs...they were right for the most part with standout tracks including "juicy - new york, new york" (the biggie intro from "sky's the limit" starts the mix [...]

This has been sitting in my email for wayyyyyyyy too long, it must have been a month since i got this in from RD ... What we have here is one rarity of a CD, you wont even find this on Amazon and its shame because this really deserves some attention as it has some of Moka's rawest and freshest rhymes with some dope production... I have mixed emotions about this album.. But it left me with a bad taste in my mouth.. Dont get me wrong, this is not a bad album, but its no way near Method Man's potential.. This album has its good tracks like 'Say' and 'Presidential MC'.. Then its got its alright tracks where Meth is on fire but the production sounds like shit.. Then theres the big let-downs.. Most notably the disgusting exploitation of Ol Dirty in the track 'Dirty Mef' where some crappy old verses are recycled.. Check it out and see for yourself... [...]

Remember where you saw it first!! Thanks to a mr. Anonymous here is the ADVANCE release of Glue's new album being released in mid-September... This was a pleasant surprise as im not too familiar to Glue and they are incredible!!!
