This six foot by four foot image of a bobble-headed SOUND team is an example of Cardboardistry - art on cardboard. The artist, Paul Ahern, discovered the technique when he was the production designer on a music video for The Natural History, and he creates the pieces by removing the cardboard's surface to reveal the corrugation underneath. I have to say I was a little disappointed in last night's season finale of Grey's Anatomy . I've been a fan of the show since it started, but this season I've stopped really caring about it, and as my sister pointed out last night - many of the characters have become incredibly unlikeable. A three-hour "finale" was also completely unnecessary (and two hours were on a Monday? What's with that?), I'm pretty sure it was three episodes that were just fused together, and not very well. In all the excitement of yesterday's announcement and a new episdoe of Lost , I forgot to announce my new timeslot on WRVU . For the duration of the summer, you'll be able to hear me on Monday from 8-10 p.m. Yup, a two hour show every week! I'm definitely excited and I have all kinds of new music set for next Monday already - expect a show preview this weekend.
