The clientele that frequents the local haunts of Penrith are if nothing else a unique bunch. I'm not going to sit here and talk down on Penrith or it's people. Santigold has a new track out with Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs called "Go" . Add Nick Zinner on guitar and you'd think there wouldn't be a way to make it any better. After much speculation and a pathetic attempt at bodging a fake line up, Splendour In The Grass 2011 have announced the official line up. Splendour In The Grass 2011 will return to the glorious site at Woodfordia and be held from Friday 29th July through til Sunday 31st July. Of course the addition of Coldplay as a headliner would lead to protests in the street if it were not for Kanye West restoring balance to the world. I get sent quite a few free CD's and to be honest, I don't really get around to listening to them. They usually have wanky bios and as a former promotions manager who wrote wanky bios and press releases, I can tell you that they are BAD. To be fair they aren't as bad as mine though.
