The Lemonheads (or Evan Dando and some other people) will be in Austin at The Mohawk on Feb. 11, performing songs from their most popular and well received record, It's a Shame About Ray . The Lemonheads are one of our favorite 90s bands, and Dando's lyrics are so simple and honest on this record. So although the album was released in 1992 and it's easy to be skeptical, we will no doubt be at this show. We can't wait! Japanese punk outfit Peelander Z has announced details for their upcoming Peelander-Fest at this year's SXSW festival. Austin indie-folk six piece Wild Child have released their first video for the track "Pillow Talk" from their debut album released in October 2011.
