Bad Brains: Band in DC documentary, directed by Mandy Stein and Benjamen Logan, is set to premiere at the SXSW 2012 Film festival next month. Break Anchor , the new project from Jay Navarro of The Suicide Machines , have premiered a new song, "A Failure of Epic Proportions." You can stream the song over on Spinner, and read an explanation of the song from Navarro, here . The song is set to be released on the band's debut 7", Black Hearts and Blackouts due out March 20th on Paper and Plastick .

The line up for this year's Crash Doubt Fest has been announced, with more bands to follow in the coming weeks. As it stands, there are sixty bands on the list, for the two day punk, hardcore, and metal festival. Crash Doubt Fest is returning to The Showroom in Lincoln UK, across Saturday the 2nd of June and Sunday the 3rd. Blink 182 has added a number of additional dates to their upcoming European tour . Before that, a recent interview also suggests that the band will be hitting the studio to work on new material to follow up last year's Neighborhoods .

Andrew W.K. has released a new song to coincide with the kick off of the World Snowboarding Championship today in Oslo, Norway. Andrew was named the official "rock 'n' roll ambassador" for the event. The Swellers have announced a European tour in May, where they'll be joined by Deaf Havana. The band is supporting their latest full-length, Good for Me which they released last summer.

The Devil Wears Prada have posted their video for "Dead Throne." The song comes from the 2011 album of the same name.

Two years after calling it quits , North Lincoln have released the recording of their final show, which took place on January 16th, 2010 at Mulligan's Pub in Grand Rapids, MI. The band's complete 22 song set is available via Tapes Not Bombs, and you can check that out here .

Bruce Springsteen has posted the video for the first single from his upcoming album, Wrecking Ball . It's due out March 6th, 2012 . Bruce's last album was Working on a Dream in 2009.

Shortly following their previously-announced trek to and from South By Southwest in March, Cancer Bats will be heading out on a Canadian tour, which kicks off on March 30th. The group will also be releasing Dead Set on Living on April 17th, 2012 . Joining Cancer Bats on the road will be Touché Amoré and A Sight For Sewn Eyes.

Bridge and Tunnel have posted 2 new songs on their Facebook . The two tracks, entitled "Homecoming" and "Mixed/Media/Messages", come from their latest 7-inch for Run For Cover Records .

Oakland, CA's The Atom Age have released the details for their upcoming record. The album is titled The Hottest Thing That's Cool and is due for a summer release on Asian Man Records . Asian Man Records will also be re-releasing 2011's Kill Surf City on vinyl in April. Atom Age have posted a teaser of the song from The Hottest Thing That's Cool entitled, "Cut, Paste, Kill."

3 Inches of Blood has debuted "Leather Lord," a new song from their upcoming fifth studio album, at Blabbermouth . The record, due out March 27th on Century Media , is titled Long Live Heavy Metal . You can check out the song by clicking here .

San Francisco, CA's, Great Apes will be releasing three 7-inches this spring on 4 different labels that include Say-10 Records , All-In Vinyl , Mission Social Club , and one label that has yet to be revealed. The band are streaming one song from each 7-inch on their bandcamp . Great Apes is a new project featuring members of The Ghost, Olehole , Hanalei , Drowning With Our Anchors, and Burial Year .

Pure Love , the new project from Frank Carter of Gallows and Jimmy Carroll of the The Hope Conspiracy and the Suicide File are set to begin recording their debut album with Foo Fighters/Pixies producer Gil Norton. The band has completed pre-production and will be recording in Brooklyn, New York. Plans are for the record to drop in late summer via Vertigo Records .
