So, after a 4 month break (WTF?!?!) I'm back...but I have no idea whatsoever what to do with my domain. Not sure if I wanna keep blogging here, since I'm currently residing over at FWM™ . Any thoughts or ideas? Cheers...
sorry ya'll. be back shortly.
I only know now know you, but you have captured my heart. That is all.
This is DEFENITLEY one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time! Here we have Ben Folds on an Austalian radio/TV program called jTV covering "Such Great Heights" by The Postal Service . It's amazing because the whole thing is recorded live and on the spot. Wow! Kinda kicks Sam Beam's (aka Iron & Wine) ass into the ground (; Update: Ugh. For some reason I can't embed the Youtube file, so here's a link [...]
So yeah, I've laready gotten super bored with this whole grey-color-y-pink-and-blue look that's going on on here right now. I've been workin on a new look. Tommorow you will see. Good things, good things. G'nite.
Here's some linkage for you (sorry if a couple are a little "saucy")... BORAT! FREE! Tonight! - Just show up tonight at AMC Empire on 42nd Street. Doors open at 9PM...Admission is free with your printed out Myspace profile (but Borat has to be in your top 8, or 12, or 16 or whatever...) I'd just get there EARLY to get a place in line. Jagshemash! UPDATE: Apparently Borat may appear on the new issue of Vanity Fair . Guess we'll have to wait and see (; Fingers-crossed. [...]
So I know that alot of people in the music press are gonna be a little "late to the party," but hey, better late than never, huh?! Anyways, with their blissful self-titled debut album FINALLY dropping on the 26th of this month (with a bonus EP!), apparently the Mute Math boys are stirring up a bit of a comotion in the mainstream music world because MTV's You Here It First is covering the guys all week (starting today) and there's a killer article on the website about them. Let's hope [...]
So I came across The Envy Corps this morning in my daily blog readings (about the first half hour of my workday...shhh, don't tell!) These guys are actually from Iowa and write some freakin' CATCHY indie rock! Kind of sound what Mobius Band would sound like if you replaced all the electronic glitches with handclaps and harmonies. Anyways, apparently they're in Russia (?!) recording their full-length debut, so maybe we'll see it soon?? Hopefully?? Anyways, here's a couple songs off of their newest EP, I Will Write You Love Letters if You Tell Me [...]

So I'm finally getting around to throwing my housewarming party and having people over to my new diggs this weekend (It's also my birthday too, btw...*wink, wink*) So if you're in the NYC area this Sunday you should totally stop by and say hello! There will be lots of food, hanging and probably some music and football too, but who knows?! Hit me up if you need directions or whateva...Peace. Oh, yeah...and yeah, I'm an idiot and didn't realize that Run DMC was from Queens before I made this poster. So watever jerks.
Sorry that I'm still so busy and haven't been able to update regularly and daily. I promise next week is going to lighten up and I'll be able to get back to this. I need to fix some code issues with the blog too, so if things look a little sloppy I do apologize. Anyways...on with the post! Those of you who are familiar with Derek Webb and know me personally will know how big of a hero DW is to me, both personally and spiritually. Anyways, Derek's newest record, Mockingbird , [...]
So apparently The Rapture are playing a FREE SHOW tomorrow night at 8PM the Soho Apple Store ! There aren't many deets other than what's listed on their Myspace page. I don't think I'll be able to go cause I have a party to go to, but if you happen to try, I recommend getting there HELLA early! (...and letting me know how it was!) good luck, bitches! <3
So two things... 1) Sorry for not posting yesterday. We're near our publish date on the magazine this week and things are just crazy busy. I'll try and be better. And... 2) Apparently something is going on with the blog site I use to host The Unibaumer (effing Blogsome) and for some reason none of my pictures will load this morning. I apologize and am trying to get it worked out. Ugh. In the meantime, check out this AMAZING version of Coldplay 's "Gravity" (Which Chris [...]

So I am trying to stay away from posting images that aren't specifically formatted for my blog, but these HAD TO BE shown! These are a couple shots from the set of the new Will Ferrell opus, Blades Of Glory , set to open next March. To be honest, I was crying from laughing so hard after looking at these! Wow, what a freakin' doo! According to IMDB, Blades is pretty much about this: "In 2002, two rival Olympic ice skaters were [...]
So apparently Mr. Jobs beat us all to the punch this morning as Apple has quietly launched the brand new 24" iMac , catching bloggers everywhere on their heels. I have yet (obviously) to see it in person, but as you can imagine, this thing is going to be a behemoth! The 24-incher comes in at $1999, which is still an amazing deal for how much computer you're getting. Here's the rest of the specs: • 24-inch widescreen LCD • 1920x1200 resolution • 2.16GHz [...]
So one of my long-time favorites, Owen (aka Mike Kinsella) & Joan Of Arc will be performing in New York tonight at the Knitting Factory, and I gotta say I'm more than excited to finally catch him live! I've been a huge Owen fan since his debut EP, Owen , was released way back in '01 and after spending a few months with his newest, At Home With Owen , it's only proven to reignite my love for all things twee! Joan Of Arc, Mike's band with brother Tim, just released a rarities and [...]
So I have a horrific confession to make...one that I've only recently decided to make public domain. It's a secret I've held onto with the tightest grip over the past several (and I mean SEVERAL!) years, only divulging to the closest of friends. But with the release of his perfect/blemishless pop record imminent, I've decided to pull a Tom Cruise and "come out the closet"... I AM A HUGE JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE FAN! OMG! HE'S AMAZING! My Love ft T.I. - FutreSex/LoveSound [...]
To be honest, I've been holding off on posting about David Condos for quite sometime now. Not only because I've waiting for his record to actually come out and for him to play a few shows, but also, I wanted to see if his GORGEOUS record, Smoking City , would have the legs to stick in my head (and subsiquent iTunes playlists) for awhile. Welp, good news...it did! The first I actually heard of David was an unfinished/unmastered version of "Permenant" about 6 months ago on his Myspace and was absolutely floored by [...]
So I know everyone is blogging on this this morning, but I figured I'd jump on the bandwagon cause maybe someone that reads my blog doesn't read the others...I dunno. Anyways, according to Asthmatic Kitty 's website we'll all be getting another dose of Sufjan Stevens come the holidays. Songs For Christmas will be the first official release of Sufjan's prolific Christmas catalog. It will be a 5 EP release and should be a great gift for the ultimate Sufjan lover in your fam! Here's the deets: • Five individually packaged [...]
Hey, I've spent the weekend in Atlantic City and I'm painting and putting together furniture from Ikea all day today, so be back on here tomorrow with LOADS of great stuff! Hope you guys enjoy your labor day...HOLLA.
Bastards. They're all bastards. So little background on Kory for ya...Little history lesson if you will. Kory (sorry for the third person...it just has greater dramatic flair for the story. Forgive me.) only thought that "hacking" existed in the movies. Kory only thought it was a way to get a young, hot, pouty-lipped Angelia Jolie onto the big screen with that dude from Trainspotting . Kory only thought that it was a way to get Robert Redford in a movie where he plays the ringleader of a dangerous, but loveable, group of misfits working [...]
