Icelandic twins Pascal Pinon released their new album Twosomeness this past February via Morr Music . Extremely intimate, the album was recorded in a bedroom studio in a place they shared in Iceland. Their name is a play on the freak show from early last century named Pasqual Pinon, meaning two-headed Mexican. In their latest video for "Bloom" the pair are placed in front of a colorful backdrop with their images floating in and out. It was directed by photographer Alísa Kalyanova. [...]

Wild Nothing is releasing his new EP, Empty Estate , on May 14th via Captured Tracks . It was recorded this past January in New York with the help of Al Carlson. Golden Youth is the musical marriage of singer/songwriters Stephanie Lauren (vocals, keys) and Kyle Monroe (guitar). According to Monroe, the project is "based on a friendship." The craft large sounds using unconvential instruments such as flutes, vibraphones, and timpani's. Their live show even larger with five musicians backing the pair to bring to life thier creations. "History" is the latest song from Juho Paalosmaa and Jori Hulkkonen, better known as Finnish synthpop group Sin Cos Tan . The cut appears on their self-titled debut LP released last November via Sugarcane Recordings . The video unfolds like a classic horror movie bringing to mind Phantasm with its nightmarish imagery. Lauryn Hill is back with a fury in her new song that dropped over the weekend. Apparently all it took was legal troubles regarding unpaid taxes to light a fire underneath her and bring her back to proper form. They have been together since back in 2008 and have been opening for Ra Ra Riot, recently. Their latest song is the immediate "Peaks" whose initial pieces came together for Gammage while the band was rolling through the Rockies, hence the name.
