Add another name to the list of bands coming out of the burgeoning Copenhagen music scene. Lower is a four-piece punk band with two 7”s up to this point through Blind Prophet and 540. The band will be embarking on a North American tour with Danish band Ice Age beginning in June. In conjunction with that announcement, the band released the frantic new song "Another Life." When Shane Parsons and Simon Ridley of DZ Deathrays started a new project, they decided to take an unconventional route of bringing in 10 other "party rockers" to form the band Velociraptor . Splashh is the latest band to bust on the scene blowing out early 90s rock nostalgia with fuzzy guitars and slacker vocals. Lana Del Rey and a Baz Luhrmann soundtrack seems like an inevitable match that was eventually going to occur at some point in time. Her penchant for the cinematic just feels right in his soundtrack for the upcoming The Great Gatsby (out May 7th via Watertower ).
