Glaciers Debut LP " And The Sea Won The Battle" was waiting for me on my door step when I got home from work yesterday. "And The Sea Won The Battle" is full of sonic textures and crashing atmospheres with just the right amount of down time as well as taking the crescendo all the way to space before it breaks into blasting rocket engines. I got the pleasure of going to a Steve Albini lecture years ago that was pretty awesome. Steve was was pretty down to earth and he even went as far as comparing our local paper to the Onion. Which is pretty acurate. I am glad to be able to finally share this with everyone. Thanks Jason for sharing!

I was recently granted an interview with A Place to Bury Strangers vocalist and guitarist, Oliver Ackermann. He graciously took some time out of his busy schedule to discuss the band's touring history, new record Exploding Head , and vinyl pressing craziness.
