16-year old Amanda Mair is the latest signing of Sweden's Labrador Records , and she has a new single out now called "Doubt".  I miss the "Labrador sound" in her music, but other than that, it's a really nice pop-song. What do you think? Amanda Mair - Doubt

Paolo and Claire are Young Romance .  They used to call themselves The Momeraths , and made some gorgeous songs and EPs using that band-name, but now it's all about Young Romance . According to the press release, the two are inseparable. "They live together, write together, finish each other’s sentences and second-guess what the other’s going to say next. Sweet, charming, funny, and entirely self contained, they can bicker and joke with each other for hours on end, splendidly isolated as the world rushes on all about them." [...]

The Beets has grown from being a band I liked, but didn't listen much to, into a band I love and listen a lot to. I am not completely sure what did this, but I think their album combined with long walks and lots of sunshine has something to do with it. The first song from Fanfarlo 's new album is "Replicate" , and it shows a new side of the band. I think I need to listen to this a few times before I can say if I like it or not, but I am definitely fascinated by the sound and the style. The video is made in collaboration with Alex Southam. Television Personalities ' front-man Dan Treacy has teamed up with Acid House Kings on their upcoming single "Heaven Knows I Miss Him Now" . The single contains two new songs, and Treacy does the lead vocals on "Heaven...." with fellow TVP-member Texas Bob on guitar. On the B-side, you can find the track "Lost and Found" . Sometimes Always is a wonderful band from Indonesia, who we released a 4 track EP with on our netlabel EardrumsPop late last year. I played around with some video-editing software, some public domain footage from the 60s and ended up with this video for their song "Be True".
