I love Wheat. They did a song called "I Met a Girl". It wasn't the most complicated song ever written, but it was a cool song. Even years later, I still remember it. To rev up for their newest release, Wheat are offering for download their cover of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and an original Christmas song. Go Wheat! Diane Birch (with The Phenomenal Hand Clap Band) cover some of my favorite songs from the 80's and early 90's on their EP The Velveteen Age. It's funny--I never thought of her style matching these artists' music, but it totally works. She brings an earthiness to these somewhat ethereal songs. No, I am not the girl from Zombieland. Quit asking me that! Streaming: " Kiss Them For Me [...]

She's so tiny that I made her litter box out of a blue plastic container. She'll rear up on her hind legs like a bear and then propel herself at me. She's so light that she doesn't even thwump when she lands. Her tiny little bite smarts a little. Meet Virtue! She was a rescue. Seemingly abandoned, and starving from what I heard! She's not starving any more. -m0kkkwp. She typed that. 00t'g88888888 That too. She *was* named after the cat in one of my favorite songs, "Plea From a [...]

I started a second blog--Cerulean's Love of Pop Culture. The plan is also to create a podcast in the next few weeks. So far there is no posting schedule, except I post things as I find them. I hope to shape it up in the next few weeks. It'll focus mainly on TV, movies, books (mostly with a scifi bent) and technology. Me being me, if something strikes a chord with me politically, I may include it. I love discussing politics, but I don't like closed-minded "you're either with me or against me" edness.
