Yet another reason as to why the Japanese are head and shoulders (metaphorically) above us:
CSS as bunnies. Adorable.
Our favorite metal band Shadows Fall will be releasing a new flash game this Thursday, which is going to give you a chance to win a Guitar Hero II. Sweet! Check out a preview of the game below
Motocade is a self-described indie rock band from Aukland, New Zealand. The gents were nice enough to send along a couple MP3s for me to check out and I thought it only fair to share it with all of you. If you're into Strokes rock, it would not be a far stretch to assume you'll [...]
Since the release of this album, there has been a scare lately of the sun setting on this British singer/songwriter's musical empire since he called for a hiatus last April. The 23 year old Patrick Wolf's third album is rich with complex layers of strings, horns, drums, synths, and vocal harmonies which are both mature [...]

Since the release of this album, there has been a scare lately of the sun setting on this British singer/songwriter's musical empire since he called for a hiatus last April. The 23 year old Patrick Wolf 's third album is rich with complex layers of strings, horns, drums, synths, and vocal harmonies which are both mature beyond his years, but still more playful than the youngest at heart. The charming title track is a perfect contrast to the melancholy experienced on "Magpie". I actually had a very hard time writing this review as [...]
I just read a CNN article about a new iPod dock called a "Miuro" that doubles as a dancing robot. Now, this isn't a mere robot with programmed dances. No. This robot can dance to ANY song based on complex mathematical algorithms and other such things that we flesh-based beings have no hope of understanding. Clearly, this signals the coming of the robotic apocalypse. As we would obviously have no defense against such an mechanized onslaught, I suggest you simply watch the below video and get REALLY excited when the cute little guy starts dancing.

The new EP from UNKLE - Night's Temper (A prelude to War Stories) has trickled it's way to the majesty of the interwebs through a few different sources... and oh my GOD is it good. Tracks feature guests such as Autolux (on "People and Machines")[YES!!!], The Duke Spirit (on "May Day")[AWESOME!], and if the rumors is correct - Josh Homme playing guitar on "Chemistry" [YES!!! AGAIN!!!]. It's such an amazing mix of sounds. Less dance-y than the previous UNKLE imports (Eye For an Eye, Big Brother Is Watching), and [...]

Some talented individuals have gone and remixed the entire new LCD Soundsytem record, "Sound of Silver" and have churned out "Sounds Like Silver." The best part? The entire record is free for download! Just click here and start-a-downloading!

Do you do you dig Turbonegro ? The dig on the new video for "Do You Do You Dig Destruction" off their new record, "Retox," coming out on June 15th. Click here to watch it.

In an attempt to do SOMETHING about their dismal ratings, CBS has purchased Last.fm . The network hopes that they will be able to find a way to convince some of the 15 million (mostly younger) users of the online radio social networking site to give a damn about their mediocre programming. One could speculate that PERHAPS the network will find a creative way to integrate the site into some innovative programming but I'm going to go ahead and not give them that much credit. Just saying. You can read the full article, from CNN, [...]
With a vengeance. Video has crept its way online for their new single Burn My Shadow - featuring Ian Astbury of The Cult with some bone-chilling lyrics. The video is simply amazing, and lends itself to today's ultra-modern fears... it's dark, it's brooding... and it's what I've been waiting for from them since the days of the DJ Shadow partnership that launched the (simply amazing album) Psyence [...]

Remember Lauryn Hill? Sure you do. She's your "favorite artist" when you're talking to that girl at the volunteer center so you seem totally down to earth and with it. Yeah. THAT Lauryn Hill. Well, she's back with some new jams. One of which is below. Blogs are all about it so, via the transitive property (kind of), so are we. It makes sense. Trust me. I would explain why but the chance that said explanation would be above you are high. Or I am tired and rambling. Either/or. MP3 : Lauryn Hill - "Lose [...]

Seriously. We could see it out the back door of our office so Brian and I jumped in his car and drove the couple blocks to our side of the Hudson river to check it out. Apparently, some abandoned building on the west side of Manhattan caught fire. Below is what it looks like. You can also see video, here .
