HOLIDAYS RECORDS, 2011 DISCOGS // BUY VINYL / DIGITAL

Damn! I wish I knew about this sooner! I'd fly out to L.A. in a heartbeat! If you happen to be in or around Los Angeles next week you should definitely go check it out. Facebook event page here .
Sit back and enjoy... so, so good! URSSS: DEMDIKE STARE
Recorded in 1987. Taken from the brilliant 2xCD compilation Earlier / Later - Unreleased Projects Anthology 74-89 . The track is only about one minute long but damn you, RHK... it owns so hard.

MORPHINE RECORDS, 2013 Utterly devastating new four track EP by Ren Schofield aka Container just dropped on Rabih Beani's Morphine Records . Properly challenging and destructive when played loud and one of this year's finest techno 123s for sure. Killer! DISCOGS // BUY VINYL

TESLA TAPES, 2013 The latest Tesla Tapes transmission (#4) features four tracks of proper drones, analog drum patterns and all sorts of distorted electronics from Chris Haslam aka Dwellings, one of the members of Manchester-based outfit Gnod . Tesla Tapes is the band's own imprint and it is safe to say that you should definitely keep a good eye on it. Good stuff! DWELLINGS - Dont Say Nothing by Tesla Tapes DISCOGS // BUY DIGITAL
SHADDOCK RECORDS, 2013 Atom™ at his finest. Forthcoming on Shaddock Records . BUY VINYL
INNOVATIVE COMMUNICATION, 1983 Taken from the LP Memorymetropolis . Clara Mondshine is a pseudonym of German composer, journalist and radio director Walter Bachauer. He passed away in 1989.

HYDRA HEAD RECORDS, 2013 // LP // BUY: VINYL / DIGITAL Another week, another Dominick Fernow (Vatican Shadow, Prurient) record. I wonder if this guy ever sleeps. Anyway, Hydra Head just put out this devastating split 123 by Fernow and fellow noise explorer Justin Broadrick (Godflesh, Scorn, etc.). Proper sonic assault to kick off the new year! Worship Is the Cleansing of the Imagination by JK Flesh / Prurient

REJECT AND FADE, 2012 // DIGITAL / BUY: DIGITAL Proper hissing industrial noise on this debut single from UK-based Rejections aka Michael Hann for his new label Reject & Fade . Fans of British Murder Boys or Emptyset should check it out. For more Rejections stuff check out his SoundCloud .

I love when record labels offer free digital download with the purchase of vinyl. It saves me a lot of time as I don't need to rip the wax in order to listen to it on my laptop or on my iPod. But here's the problem: Sadly, many labels only offer MP3 downloads.. and that sucks. Just give me FLAC or don't bother. Really. I'm sure it's fixable, right?
BRAVE MYSTERIES, 2011 Intense remix of Burial Hex 's "Book of Delusions" courtesy of Berlin-via-Buenos Aires duo Mueran Humanos . The only official release I could find is this already ridiculously overpriced CDr bundle . I did order the LP from Brave Mysteries earlier this year, unfortunately, I was too late and my copy arrived without the bonus CDr. It is really too bad this track is not widely available.. it owns so hard.

TELEFUNKEN, 1980 // LP / BUY: VINYL Stunning Berlin school record and one of my favorite LPs to come out of Germany from the late 70s/early 80s period. Produced by Klaus Schulze and released on the legendary Telefunken label, this wonderful piece of wax set me back almost $50. But talk about money well spent: this record is epic in every sense of the word.

HOSPITAL PRODUCTIONS, 2012 // LP / BUY: VINYL / DIGITAL Album of the year for me - no further commentary is necessary. Juan can do no wrong so just go ahead, buy the vinyl, turn up the volume and let the music work its magic.

ASTRO:DYNAMICS, 2012 // CASSETTE / BUY: CASSETTE / DIGITAL Lovely second release from the Swedish producer Axel Backman, aka 1991 - a follow-up to his debut High-Tech High-Life cassette on Opal Tapes. Out via London-based Astro:Dynamics imprint, 1991 fuses lo-fi electronics, vintage tape distortion and dark synths into one hybrid of an album. If you're into the Pye Corner Audio type of sound, you'll definitely enjoy this. The track "Distortion of Time" is worth the release price [...]

THE SECRET INITIATIVE, 2012 // 123 / BUY: VINYL I have to admit I've never heard of this mysterious label until one of my fellow music-obsessive friends raved about it on Twitter. The A side, "East Of The Northern Star," is a proper dubbed-out early Detroit techno trip and the B-side, "Half a Life Ago," doesn't disappoint as well. The anonymity factor sure adds even more to the mystery so if anybody have any intel who's behind it, please do let me know!
SACRED BONES RECORDS, 2012 // 123 / BUY: VINYL / DIGITAL Super catchy cold wave vibes from Robert Alfons ( @TR_ST ), aka Trust . "Bulbform" is the second single taken from the album TRST (Arts & Crafts, 2012).

URASHIMA, 2012 // LP / BUY: VINYL Intense analog drones courtesy of Italian noise producer Marco Corbelli, aka Atrax Morgue , directly inspired by the 1974 Italian movie of the same name. Corbelli apparently commited suicide by hanging back in 2007. Originally released in 2001 on cassette, the record has finally been remastered and reissued with the permission of the Corbelli's family. 140 gram red vinyl and limited to 99 copies.
New transmission from British Murder Boys, "Where Pail Limbs Lie," forthcoming on Liberation Technologies. Fuck yes!

Whoa, this party is going to be mental: Andy Stott, Peter van Hoesen & the Demdike boys. Man, what an incredible line-up! I can't wait to see Demdike Stare again. I saw them perfoming live at Unsound Festival in NYC earlier this year and they absolutely killed it. More info here .
