Web search and technology giants, Google are set to enter the music-streaming market, widely-expected to unveil a new product later today (15 May). The company are currently holding their Google I/O conference , a get-together for the corporation's developers and designers, and the New York Times are suggesting that the announcement will happen shortly. The product in question is likely to be akin to Spotify, Deezer and other existing competitors, but without a free service. DHP Group , the people behind Bristol's Thekla and Rock City in Nottingham, are set to launch a new East London venue. The news follows the local council's decision to grant the appropriate license for the group to open a new venue on Hackney's Amhurst Road.
