Twenty five years ago today Michael Jackson had an accident. This was the famous Pepsi commercial which "injured" Michael Jackson. Oddly enough it's probably the last time I had any degree of empathy for the "Gloved One". Using my extremely foggy memory I think that it also might have been Jackson's unofficial tipping point. I never thought we would get to the 30th Anniversary of the Bo and Luke Duke, their Uncle Jesse, and Daisy.... When I was young this was a very popular Friday night show. Needless to say my most enduring memory of this show was Catherine Bach and her "Daisy Dukes"-- to me that was the most valuable cultural take away from this ultimately really bad show.
