Take a look at the video recap from the IHEARTCOMIX Official Showcase from this years SXSW. Be sure to keep tabs on some of our featured artists this year as they will no doubt be making waves in the music community, whether they are tried and true veterans, or new to the scene. Once again, thank you to the Beauty Bar for hosting us again and special thanks to all of the performers and audience members that made this beyond capacity evening a success. O S A K A

Although WMC and ULTRA did not match up this year, that didn't stop us from having one of the most epic parties with some of the best djs from around the world. This year IHEARTCOMIX teamed up with Mad Decent to throw a mansion party right on the water. Yachts would drive by with girls dancing on the deck, as we blasted music right into the water. Sets by Jokers of the Scene, Drop the Lime, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Skream, and many others created a very intimate and relaxing escape to an otherwise intense and crowded festival, and you could [...]
HEARTSREVOLUTION have been diligently working in their secret bunker in preparations for the release of their new album, Ride or Die . Their latest video surfaced, and it is a full on kaleidoscopic montage paired beautifully with an instrumental rendition of Digital Suicide. Enjoy! O S A K A
Last Tuesday, Check Yo Ponytail hosted what was one of the darkest lineups this city has seen in awhile, with Salem taking to the stage for their debut Los Angeles performance. Needless to say, it was a spectacle to be seen, as Salem washed us out with their intense light towers and hazy stage presence, slowly moving in and out of the shadows that they created. Special thanks to Light Asylum, Gatekeeper, Killing Spree, and The Present Moment for their stunning performances, adding to the intensity of this ethereal night. As always, we've provided a wonderful [...]

As always, IHEARTCOMIX went down to Austin, TX to stir things up a bit during SXSW. In addition to the ridiculous fun we had throwing a rave in a mall, we had our official SXSW showcase at the Beauty Bar, complete with two stages of some of the finest up and coming performers, as well as a few tried and true staples. The venue was completely packed with a line of people down the street waiting to get in to catch all the excitement. In case you were unable to attend, here are some photograph selections from our showcase gallery, [...]

This year, IHEARTCOMIX teamed up with Fool's Gold Records to throw a late night party at SXSW. The location was an incredible abandoned mall, complete with fountains, food court, Dillard's, and gumball machines. Add a few thousand people dancing, great djs, free drinks, and early morning hours and I think you have an idea of what it was like. For more photos check out the full gallery here . Additionally, if you took a Gumball Machine photo with Tommy B. in front of the Quinceñera dress shop, check those out here . [...]
After two very long weeks of traveling to SXSW and Miami, we are back and ready to get dark in Los Angeles. Tomorrow, Check Yo Ponytail brings Salem to the Echoplex for their Los Angeles debut. Alongside them will be Light Asylum, Gatekeeper, Killing Spree, and Franki Chan. Saying this show will be monumental is probably the understatement of the year. Be sure to get your tickets here. See you all in the shadows. Salem Light Asylum [...]

This weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to ask Los Angeles beat destroyer, the Gaslamp Killer, a few questions for the Check Yo Ponytail website . Take a look as he discusses performance theory, jazz, and the future of vinyl. O S A K A: By now you've travelled all over the world. Does the addition of new locale affect the way you approach each show? Are there certain locations that are less/more privy to your eclectic approach than others? Gaslamp [...]
