Now that the halloween fog has finally cleared and the ghosts and ghouls have once again retreated to their resting places, we are able to take a look back on this years HARD Haunted Mansion. As always, the lineup was a well curated one filled with enough eclectic selectors to ensure a diverse, yet energetic night of lost minds and lost souls. Cut Copy , as of yesterday, announced their long anticipated third album, Zonoscope. The album will be released February on Modular Recordings and by the look of it we can expect a much more organic and experimental offering from the once shimmering and crisp electronic pop we have come to love. Very excited to see that Canadian dance punk artists, You Say Party (formerly You Say Party! We Say Die!) have returned with a remarkably well executed video for their next single, Lonely's Lunch. The video features a suspenseful cat and mouse chase through what appears to be a post-futuristic India, filled with corrupt regimes and deceptive allies. The production value of this miniature sci-future suspense thriller is solid, and the classic You Say Party sound is still intact despite many hardships the band has faced regarding the unfortunate and sudden loss of drummer Devon Clifford earlier this year. Came across this wonderfully produced video for Shit Robot and their latest track, Tuff Enuff?. Minimal, yet infectious, Tuff Enuff? is a tech-house disco delight.
