goooooood morning, gang. as you may have noticed below, phase one of the fourteen point marshall plan to improve anyone's guess has recently been unleashed upon the reading public and, as a result, a.g. is now bolder, smoother, less filling, great tasting, with a longer battery life and no assembly required. the breakdown: those little arrows now appearing to the left of the song titles will allow you listen to said songs without opening a window or breaking stride. simply click on the arrow to sample the selection whilest you continue reading or stare at my dashing picture [...]
a full house at chez a.g.* this week with frankie baby and mamasue in town to visit m. jae . and though not without its hiccups, understandably - because what family can avoid, for an extended visit or, say, the span of life, leaving off each other's buttons; refraining from stuffing something remarkably like one's own foot into one's own mouth; letting drop, if briefly, the often carefully constructed & protective public exterior and in so doing exposing and acknowledging vulnerabilities previously hidden? - their stay was quite lovely, highlighted by the first annual - first & only? nice to see evan rachel wood took some time away from snogging, for real , marilyn manson (um, gross?) to film julie taymor 's upcoming across the universe , a movie musical about - if i may be reductive for a moment - the 1960s as told through & with music by the beatles . there are two ways this film could turn out... just kidding, there's only one. a.g., of course, is looking forward to it. (taymor's earned the chits; i remember how stunned you all were, rightfully, at her [...]

brett dennen 's a shaggy haired singer from out oakdale way with an easy playing style & a sort of rubbery voice in how he can bend and stretch certain words, notes. brett dennen - she's mine the music doesn't always stay with me but there are times when his voice, the pronunciation of a simple word or just the pace at which he moves through the lyrics, can catch me unprepared. and i like that. plus he's got the right feel for a hot-assed day like today. (now that it's nearly [...]
