Folk outfit Book Club have followed up one of Atlanta's most critically acclaimed records this year, Ghost , with a free EP of a live broadcast last month on AM 1690. The EP features two songs from Ghost , as well as a previously unreleased track, all performed live. Give it a listen: Book Club : "Love Like Parachutes" (Live) Download/Stream Live on AM1690 [...]

Three quarters of the recently disbanded Roman Photos have continued on under a new moniker, Kolossi , and they just released the first taste of this new incarnation. It's a five song record called The Chase , which deals in atmospheric dance music not dissimilar from Roman Photos . Here's a track, and you can get it for free below. ![[Mp3] Young Again: “Host”](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3772783_lg.jpg)
After releasing a couple songs earlier this year, Young Again have finally put forth a record, a four song EP called I Woke Up Smiling . "Control," which I blogged about back in April , is joined by three other dreamy yet well written songs, resulting in a short record that's worth many a listen. Also, Young Again member Seth Bolton's other project, Living Rooms , released a new cut earlier this week as well, so be sure to check that out too . Young [...]
![[Mp3] Vocabulary: “Things I Like”](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3772669_lg.jpg)
Vocabulary just released a new EP called Good Things . For the most part, the six pieces feel more like sketches than finished songs, but they're intriguing sounds and ideas nonetheless. I'm looking forward to catching Vocabulary live this Saturday (Oct. 8th) night at Wholly Roller's showcase at The Cottage with Places, Gem Club , and Holy Spirit . Here's the bonus track, my favourite from the new EP: Vocabulary : "Things I Like" Download Good Things EP [...]

Cassandras just released a new three song record called Hari Pari Mandala Gosthi . Between it and their record from earlier this year, Cassandras has fast become one of my favourite Atlanta acts of 2011. Go listen to this incredible song, and then go download the whole album for whatever price you want: Cassandras : "Rise Up" Download/Stream Hari Pari Mandala Gosthi [...]

![[Mp3] The Electric Nature: “Super Space Disco Party”](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3755230_lg.jpg)
One Atlanta artist who I should have mentioned much earlier and more often is Michael Potter aka The Electric Nature . In a city with a vibrant and extremely underrated noise/experimental scene, The Electric Nature has established itself as one of this year's most compelling drone acts. Potter has already released a lot of great material earlier this year that I need to get around to blogging about, but he just released an even newer record called Drugs in Space . I love that title, and it's certainly descriptive of the sort of music contained within. [...]
![[Mp3] Faun and a Pan Flute: “peach is got it / getting a hair cut at 100MPH”](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3755163_lg.jpg)
I finally sat down with Faun and a Pan Flute 's latest record, I'm not Prostitute , and I'm really starting to dig it. At first listen, it's mathy and seemingly ambling elements are a bit disorienting, but the more I listen, the more fond I grow of this particular flavour of psych-pop. You can grab the five songs for whatever price you want from Primitive Patterns : Faun and a Pan Flute : "peach is got it / getting a hair cut at 100MPH" [...]
