Chicago's Riot Fest has revealed its 2013 lineup. The punk and alternative rock festival takes place September 13th - 15th in Humbolt Park. Drake has recruited Frank Ocean and James Blake to perform at the 2013 edition of his annual OVO Festival, set for August 4th and 5th at Molson Ampitheatre in Toronto. Ocean and Blake will both take the stage on the 4th, while Drizzy will deliver a full headlining set on the 5th. Drake will undoubtedly surprise the masses with guests, as everyone from Eminem to Jay-Z to Lil Wayne has made unannounced appearances in the past. Tickets go on sale Friday May 24 at 10 a.m. EST at Live Nation and Ticketmaster.

Italian supercomposer Giorgio Moroder' s having quite a ball lately. In addition to being immortalized by Daft Punk on their latest album - in what's arguably the best track off Random Access Memories - he's back with his own new music. John Darnielle a.k.a. The Mountain Goats will reissue his end-of-an-era album  All Hail West Texas  on July 23rd via Merge Records. As legend and a press release tell us, it's the final album on which Darnielle used a condenser mic in his Panasonic boombox to record his early material. Originally released in 2002, All Hail West Texas features "fourteen songs about seven people, two houses, a motorcycle, and a locked treatment facility for adolescent boys." The original 14 songs will be remastered, and the reissue will feature seven previously unreleased tracks from cassettes recorded [...]

Earlier today, UK production duo Disclosure performed at Maida Vale Studios as part of a special live session for BBC Radio 1. The setlist included their hit single "You & Me", "You Used to Hold Me", and a brand new cut titled "F For You". Replay all three performances below. Last year's  CoSign  Nashville synth-pop duo Future Unlimited  recruited actor Shia LaBeouf to direct their new video for "Haunted Love". Inspired by the murky, harrowing sounds of the single, the cinematic visuals — which star LaBeouf's girlfriend Mia Goth alongside frontman Dave Miller – tell a devastating and dramatic tale of a relationship gone horribly awry, plagued by betrayal, violence, and death. Cedric Bixler-Zavala, formerly of The Mars Volta and At The Drive-In, has launched a brand new project. Zavalaz - which is just Zavala with an extra z - also features guitarist Dan Elkan (Them Hills, Broken Bells), drummer Gregory Rogove (Megapuss), and bassist Juan Alderete de la Peña (The Mars Volta, Racer X). They'll hit the road together next month for a series of shows along the West Coast. London electronic duo Mount Kimbie team up with neo-soul singer King Krule for "You Took Your Time", one of two such collaborations featured on the pair's sophomore LP, Cold Spring Fault Less Youth . With Mount Kimbie laying down a futuristic jazz beat of wub-by synths and kinetic drums, Krule provides heavily-accented vocals that blur the line between croon and sing-talk. And as the duo build the track to a chaotic and fevered pitch, Krule is right there with them offering random yelps and wailing. Listen in below. [...]

Channeling much of the raw, but inventive R&B stylings that appeared on last year's Slow To Love , Brooklyn singer-songwriter Doe Paoro embraces old soul in a new way on her latest track, "New Lows". The skittering number, including its deep-dipping, sashaying beat, complement her well-toned vocals, and showcase her ability to stretch from haunting croon to burning wail without breaking stride. Underground hip-hop stalwart Del the Funky Homosapien has posted a new track called "Adrenaline 923 to his Soundcloud page, saying, "...just did this in one of my labs this morning...just felt like spitting, making some crazy shit. Earlier this month, AraabMuzik was shot during an attempted robbery . As he continues to recover from his injuries, the super producer has been forced to cancel several upcoming tour dates in Illinois, Texas, Arkansas, and New Jersey. In March 2010, Big Star' s Jody Stephens honored late band mate Alex Chilton with an impromptu all-star performance of the band's 1978 classic, Third (later Sister Lovers ), during South by Southwest. Later that year, Stephens unearthed the album's original scores and began staging a handful of shows across the country, featuring a shifting lineup of performers and singers, along with a full orchestra. Camera Obscura have unveiled "Fifth In Line To The Throne", the second track off their first album in four years, Desire Lines . Google has announced plans to for a streaming music service that will compete with existing services like Spotify, Pandora and Rdio. Today at the company's I/O keynote speech, they unveiled Google Play Music All Access. The service will allow users to stream millions of songs on their web browser, mobile phone, and tablets. Other features include curated radio stations and personalized music recommendations based on listening history. All Access is priced at $9.99 a month following a 30-day free trial. L.A's rambunctious punk upstarts  FIDLAR have announced a new string of inter-coastal behind this year's debut self-titled effort . After playing every festival from Detroit's Orion Music + More to Australia's Splendour in the Grass , the boys will kick off the 26-stop trek in San Francisco at the end of August. After popping up in various live DJ sets, "Earthquake", the earth-shattering trap collab between Diplo and DJ Fresh , will finally see an official release. The track, which also features the vocals of R&B artist Dominique Young Unique (replacing what once were B.I.G. samples), will appear on Fresh's forthcoming 2014 album and also in the superhero action-comedy, Kick-Ass 2 , due out this summer. According to Do Androids Dance , Ministry of Sound also has plans to release it "soon", though no official date has been mentioned. Listen to the monstrous "Earthquake" below.

When busy emcee French Montana isn't hanging with ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg , lending verses to Harry Fraud , or opening for Drake , he's hard at work prepping his own debut, Excuse My French . The album, slated for release on May 21st, features a star-studded cast, among them Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and Snoop Dogg. The newest track to surface, "Gifted", features the ever-smooth and soulful R&B artist The Weeknd  (who, coincidentally, has just resurfaced with new material , too).
