If you still come back here and use an iPhone, I think you'll find this useful: "GET LUCKY" RINGTONE Peace and Love, Solid Goldberger

DJ Falcon is back in town! Yay! Also, I'm back (we'll see how that goes). DJ Falcon @ Santos Party House , Thursday June 3, 2010, 10 bucks.
I'm a big fan of The Popular People's Front , and I think if you like the music that I have posted here, you'll probably dig it too. Here's 2 great party mixes for to try out. I'm pretty sure all their music is released as limited-edition vinyl, so it stands to reason that I'll probably try to post whatever I can of theirs in the future, until it becomes available for sale again. In the mean time, check out whats available on the Hype Machine . [...]
Thanks to Kiyoshi for pointing out that my friend Glen is a lucky boy to be an Angelino .
SaBeBa, thanks for sending this, made my day. Daft Punk: The Game Harder Better Faster Stronger, NES Style and if it hasn't made it to your inbox yet, iDaft If there are others, send em.
Seriously, who's coming with me?

Dude, this whole leaving town for the tropics thing is getting out of control. Just as I got a gig for 2 weeks in the Carribean, Lil' Louis has to all come out of retirement and shit. Apparently he's doing a small tour to promote a new book, "A Man's Diary", and CD, entitled " Two Sides to Every Story " which is written by Louis from the perspective "depicting the joy, love, and heartache" of dating Lil' Louis. Sounds awesome. Since I never got to see him the first time around, I'm [...]

This one was sent over from my friend in Ireland, Iarla O'Sullivan, who's been a big benefactor of SGB. He's started a Disco/House label/collective called " Galaxy Comète Records " that is doing its part to bring back the french touch, giving away all their releases for free. So far they're off to a great start, and I hope to hear more from em. Iarla's been feeding me great tracks for the past two years, even during the times when I've been a bad blogger and probably didn't deserve 'em. So head over to GCR's [...]

I guess Studio B didn't close after all? And good thing, too because they're hosting one of the best, Matthew Herbert , for a DJ set this weekend, and if its anything like his last NY appearance, at Canal Room in 2006, we're in for a real good time. I hope to see you all there, its good to be home again. -SGB P.S. Got all your emails while I was gone, and I'll write back as soon as i can get [...]
It was bad missing the Obama inauguration, but I´ll be in a beach paradise, and my country would be in good hands, so i figured it´d be ok. It was bad missing a lot of work, because when i return from this vacation, I´m gonna be one poor dude. But this is the fucking worst. Thanks Kristin , for both making and ruining my day: ROMANTHONY IS PLAYING AT LOVE ON 1/17/09!!!
I just wanted to mention that I'm taking a trip to Mexico in January, and have no real plans as of yet. So if you're from Mexico and have some recommendations for me, I'm all ears. Thanks. e.

Many thanks to Max in Germany for digging this one up. Only one more EP left to complete the Vertigo Discography, Gile's "Third Episode" , anyone? VRT 001 (1999) The Julia Set - "Catch Your Pain EP" A-Side: Catch Your Pain [RIGHT-CLICK TO DOWNLOAD] [...]

Boy, you take a little break from blogging, and look at what you miss!!! Something looks familiar..... DARLING RECORDS [DARLING001] Alex Le Baron - Primary School There is a sample available at Darling Records' MySpace Apparently Rico the Wizard is involved in producing/mixing this first 12", but its all speculation through the rumor mill from there. If anyone gets any good info, pass it [...]
Wandering around the internet between football games this morning, I came across this cool "blog" called "Bozman Website" that has a bunch of really good DJ mixes I imagine many of you would enjoy. However, early on while scouring of the archives, I saw a long video from the "Red Bull Music Academy" showing Theo Parrish playing records from a sofa and talking about music for a couple hours. Its a cool way of seeing one of the US's great touring DJs, and its a great way to absorb lot of knowledge [...]

I want all of you swing-state DJs playing this loud all weekend! Daft Punk - "Aer Obama " (Daft Punk vs. Adam Freeland ) [RIGHT-CLICK TO DOWNLOAD]

Wow, did I ever pick an awful weekend to go to Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner). Just got confirmation in an email that Falcon is coming back to the Big Apple next saturday night, @ Le Poisson Rouge . If you're a regular reader of this blog, you know how great my fandom of Falcon is, and he's one of the most entertaining DJs around. If you are around, PLEASE DONT MISS THIS ONE. And if you are there, give him a high five for me! [...]
A new track for the first time in a while from our friend RAW MAN . Raw Man f/ Blanche: Bank Rape [RIGHT-CLICK TO DOWNLOAD]
WARNING: Really Poor Recording Quality! Still, i think this live set is absolutely incredible, and it makes me very upset that i missed Super_Collider's North American shows years ago. I've had this set for a while now, but know very little about its origin. Sounds like someone recorded a board feed and had the trim set too high, so the bass is pretty blown out. However, give it a chance, i promise its worth it. It sounds to me like an Ableton Live set, but 2002 would be pretty early to be [...]
