We're going somewhere with no connection to the internet for a week so we'll leave you with something from Montreal DJ Michael Silver aka CFCF whose debut album 'Continent' is out through Paper Bag Records on October 27th. It ranges from mid-tempo nu-disco to balearic and house to ambient and here's a nicely chilled track from it that's all old school atmospheric piano and synth action. The new HEALTH album 'Get Color' comes highly recommended and to commemorate it's release a little while back URB Magazine assembled a collection of exclusive remixes by some of their favorite artists that includes Acid Girls, Tommie Sunshine, Daisy O'Dell and Dark Party aka Eliot Lipp and Leo 123 who apparently completed their remix in a rented compact car while on tour in the outer reaches of Iowa. mp3: health - severin (dark party remix).

Ed Bayling aka I.D who runs Bass Music has been busy lately with releases and remixes on Earwax, Enchufada, Heavy Artillery and Civil and there's more stuff on the way including releases on Mad Decent, Boka, Mata-Syn, Lucky Break, Passenger and Build. His latest mix features plenty of the above as well as some new and unreleased dubs by the likes of TRG, Gemmy, Toasty and DJ Madd and it swings from deep 2-steppy vibes, to melodic post-dubstep to choppy breakstep and beyond. The latest release on Bang Gang 12 Inches is a remix package for 'Destination' by the now defunct duo Damn Arms . Other remixes have been all over the intenets since about July so this is pretty old news but definitely grab the chilled Ted & Francis remix if you haven't already and here's something sunny and funked up by Cassian . mp3: damn arms - destination (cassian remix).

You're probably more than familiar with the Crookers remix of Kid Cudi's track 'Day N Night' since it went overground and you might have seen the cheesy accompanying video that the emcee wasn't very happy about. Anyway here's the original video that was shot for a mere $250 by Maxim Bohichik aka BBGun back in April last year and although there's no gratuitous semi-nudity it looks a lot better in our opinion.

The new EP from Claude Vonstroke entitled 'The Greasy Beat' features none other than Bootsy Collins and is out this month on a twelve inch through Dirtybird . The original will feature on the San Francisco producers upcoming 'Bird Brain' long player and the EP is comprised of a Funk Bomb Mix and a Tech Funk Mix, while over at RCRD.LBL they just posted up this exclusive Natural Funk Mix that fleshes things out a little. mp3: claude vonstroke - the greasy beat ft. bootsy collins (funk bomb mix).

The new album from French producer Joakim entitled 'Milky Ways' is out September 15th on !K7 and his kitchen sink approach to music that has made his albums difficult to classify is pretty much evident in this latest mix that includes an outtake from The Beatles mixed with some juke by DJ Deeon and Red Dragon Band's Italo jam 'Let Me Be Your Radio' alongside a track by The Rolling Stones. • Joakim - Milky Mix

The next release from the always impressive Nighshifters label is a collaborative effort between New York's Udachi and Jubilee that features two originals 'Paypur' and 'Smoke Rings' as well as some strong remixes from Dre Skull, Thunderheist's Grahmzilla, hardcore breakbeat legend Luna-C, Venezuelan dubstepper Cordopusher and Nick Catchdubs with lyricist Kid Daytona. Seattle producer Jeff McIlwain has been producing film scores but he's back as LUSINE with a second album for Ghostly International and 'A Certain Distance' is a collection of warm and complex electronic-pop songs. The lead single 'Two Dots' with Finnish singer Vilja Larjosto dropped back in June and there's a new video for that and here's another nice cut from the album which is available now at the Ghostly Store . mp3: lusine - cirrus.

UK producer Doc Daneeka is an emerging talent on the UK Funky scene and he's upped the tempo and injected a nice vibe into the Jazzanova track from last year entitled 'I Can See' that features the soulful vocals of London singer Ben Westbeech. Dekata Project aka Sam Sharp and Zed Bias have given some tunes from their first EP to some of top UK producers and the result is the 'At Least We Can Dance' EP that's out September 14th on Doshiwa Records. You can hear the remixes from Nu:Tone, Roska, Hint and Ike Synton at doshiwa.com and there's also an Art Competition running at the live journal of comic book legend Harvey James that ties in with the release. The 'Gostoso Remix' EP by Man Recordings boss Daniel Haaksman will be released both on vinyl and digital on September 11th and there are limited edition coloured vinyls available while they last. Remixes come from Edu K, DJ Rob 3, João Brasil, SchlachthofBronx and Consistent while the digital will include additional remixes by Zombie Disco Squad and Sharkslayer. The BeatauCue remix of 'Pon De Floor' by Major Lazer has been recently seeing some club action from Crookers and Sinden who both opened their sets it and look out for a big sounding remix of 'Peanut Club' by Brodinski & Noob that's out September 16th on Turbo. Germany's Acidkids have just dropped a new track entitled 'Mitch' and it's seen it way into the sets of Mstrkrft, Zombie Nation and Fake Blood. Remixes are from Felix Cartal, Emperor Machine and Fukkk Offf and it's available at Beatport and Juno .

The latest in the ever impressive mixtape series that FACT Magazine frequently put out on the internets is by New York producer FaltyDL . London duo Jamie Paterson and Danny Ashenden aka The C90s formed over a mutual appreciation of disco beats, handclaps, cowbells and vocoders and their remix of 'Dirt' from a twelve inch by Swiss producer Headman that dropped back in July has been championed by the lies of Tiga and Aeroplane. It features the vocals of Katrina Noorbegen from Cassette Kids and there's already been an edit on the blogs but this is the full version and look out for a debut release on Relish Recordings very soon. mp3: headman - dirt (the C90s remix).

The wonderfully titled sophomore album 'Cosmic Egg' by Wolfmother is due any time soon on Modular and the bombastic 'New Moon Rising' is the first single to be taken from it.
