so, I'm sorry as I always am, for not posting that long. But now I don't really have any excuses anymore, my internet is working perfectly AND I've got loads of music for. So, anyway, I thought for not posting for a whole month(or longer, I'm not quite sure), you'll be rewarded with no less than three mixes!! Three! It's a nice selection of what has been sent to me during the last... well, since I last blogged. I've compiled two electro mixes and one for everything else(indie, rock and so on) You might already know some of them, since [...]

as you may have noticed, blogger keeps deleting my posts. I mean, What the f'? This DMCA somehow has found my blog and now keeps digging. I mean, seriously, it's not like I'm uploading whole albums, you know. So, I've downed most of the mp3's preventing the loss of more painstakingly(kinda) constructed post. Well, I'll come up with an idea as you how to keep my posts and you still get to listen to the music- an then I'll be back. That probably also depends on when I [...]

Luckily, university starts in about a week, which means - especially in my case - I have more time for this blog. So, starting with some new favourites of mine, a new T(I)NC song from their upcoming The Cross Of My Calling , out on November, 14th in Europe. Aswell as a new Cajun Dance Party song called Five Days , supposedly from their yet untitled sophomore album, which is also due this year, quoting the band itself . MP3: The (Int.) Noise Conspiracy - I Am The Dynamite [...]

for not posting. Have been working almost 6 days a week and haven't found the time to post. Hope to slightly improve myself in the next days. Not today, because I don't have time. By the way, I like the new Kings Of Leon album from Only By The Nigh t: MP3: Kings of Leon - Be Somebody ( YSI ) MP3: Kings of Leon - Use Somebody ( YSI ) [...]

I threw a bunch of songs together, because I'm bored. A misc mix. New Kaiser's single seems alright. Bad Quality tho'. enjoy: MP3: Kaiser Chiefs - Never Miss A Beat ( YSI ) MP3: Digitalism - Taken Away (Mmmathias Remix) ( YSI ) MP3: Division Kent - Offshore (The Phantom's Revenge Remix) ( YSI ) MP3: Sébastien Tellier - L'amour et la violence (Boys Noize Version) ( YSI ) MP3: [...]

No time to chat, work is in 5 minutes. Besides, words are pointless, regarding these... from Acres Of Dead Space Cadets : MP3: Elle Milano - Curiosity Killed The Popstar ( YSI ) from Friendly Fires : MP3: Friendly Fires - In The Hospital ( YSI ) from Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong : MP3: Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong [...]

MP3: The Cribs - Things You Should Be Knowing ( YSI ) Just some thoughts... First: Of Montreal 's newest Skeletal Lamping will be out on October 7th via PolyVinyl . Even though Id Engager was a bit of a "letdown" (of Montreal-wise), I'm inclined to look forward to Skeletal Lamping because of this: MP3: Of Montreal - St.Exquisite's Confessions ( YSI ) [...]

Friday afternoon, I'm at home and bored. Can't go out, because I have to work. Wanna dance? MP3: Haezer - Katherine ( YSI ) MP3: Amari - Suffer With Styles ( YSI ) MP3: Hot Styles - Lookin' Boy ft. Yung Joc (Valerna Remix) ( YSI ) MP3: Dr. Dre (feat. Snoop Dogg) – The Next Episode (Project Cyborg rmx) ( YSI ) MP3: Aerotronic - Playroom ( YSI ) MP3: [...]

MP3: Diplo (featuring Rye Rye) - Wassup Wassup (ddpesh Remix) ( YSI ) Honestly, I hate the current release politics from the bands/labels. Now I've returned after holiday/festival only to find out Intimacy is already out! What the f'? I'm so stunned and shocked by this news right now, that I actually refuse to post about Intimacy let alone listen to Bloc Party 's third record at the moment. Is this the new way to evade music piracy? Is it working then? We'll [...]

I'll be leaving for my holiday in a couple of minutes and I thought I'd let the few of you know. You know, being nice once in a while. Seeing as I haven't finished packing, there's no time for a long post, so I'll just upload a mix. Frequency Festival is next weekend and I'll be heading straight towards it, as it is part of my "vacation". Anyway, thought you might be interested in what kind of bands I'm going to see. If you are, check the the tracklist below. Also, I won't have any internet access for a whole 10 days, so this [...]

A while ago, I've told you, that The Indie Dancefloor should open its musical boundaries and be more receptive for styles other than just indie or electro. Fact, Stereo MC's released their sixth studio album Double Bubble a couple of weeks ago and as you might know, really good British hip hop is rare. For those who might not know them, Stereo Mc's started in 1989 and have since evolved as one of the most important hip hop combo the UK has to offer. Success has still only kicked in after the single Elevate My Mind and followed by their [...]

I know, it's been long. Really, really long. Almost like last summer, when I've been shut away in internet-less Swanage. Ah, let's not think about that one. Anyway, two festivals, exams and some accidents concerning my beloved car have kept me from posting, but now I'm on vacation and I have time.. until two weeks, where I'll be heading to another festival. Anyway, since I embarrassingly failed to post some pictures of Southside Festival, I'll do so with the Melt! one. It was absolutely amazing, though exhausting. T(I)NC were lovely as ever, Late Of The [...]

in the midst of learning, revising and planning my next festival visit in two weeks, I did find some time to post. Speaking of festival, after having seen T(I)NC at Southside festival, I decided I just had to see them again. Point being they were simply awesome, but unfortunately the crowd was too tired, too lazy or simply not clever enough to realize what an unbelievably awesome band was playing right in front of them. Anyway, I'm going to the Melt! Festival in 2 weeks, where hopefully the crowd'll be better. Now, coming to some music: [...]

Alright, the date when Albert 's sophomore LP Como Te Llama will be released is creeping nearer and nearer and my opinion about it has not changed. I don't want him him to release that record for exactly the reasons I gave here . But, he's a Stroke, so I give in - can't do anything about it anyway. Como Te Llama is nevertheless different to Yours To Keep . It's not as mellow and pop-ish as his debut, it's got rougher parts and doesn't sound as fluently. It does remind me a [...]

I know, I know, I haven't been posting lately, but I've been stressed with university and that won't change much in the next 3 or 4 weeks. So, be patient, I'll try and find some time, seeing as more and more great albums are being released and it's itching me to review them. Patience, we'll get to that, maybe even later this week. Maybe. Anyway, I've been learning a lot, because the finals are ahead and due to my laziness for about 3/4 of the semester, I have to do everything now. Nevermind that, I've been to the Southside [...]

I feel a bit bad about not writing for two whole weeks, but I've been working a lot and studying a bit and between those two things, there just wasn't anything fancy or cool to write about. Guess I've also been too lazy to look for something fancy or cool. I don't have much time, because an exam is ahead of me this week and I haven't begun learning, which I should start... immediately. So forgive me, if my descriptions remain short. So Chaingang are from Sydney and apparently named after a Mickey Mouse cartoon. Despite this irritating [...]

It's all about variety, right? Despite the name I chose for my blog, I do want to post more than just indie - or electro. How about something a bit different for today? As I've said during my last post, I'll get back to some of the music I've posted there: if my calculation is right, Asian Dub Foundation released their 6th studio record Punkara last month, but unfortunately only in Japan so far. But(!) according to their myspace, Punkara will be available for the rest of [...]

I've denied it , but now it's official: Albert Hammond Jr' s sophomore LP Como Te Llama will be released in the mid of June. Alright, that is basically nothing to be sad about, still I don't approve of him doing that record. Why? It means, that Albert probably'll have a tour, TV appearances and all that stuff and the next Strokes record is even farther away. Still, he's a Stroke, so go buy the new single GfC via amazon . MP3: Albert Hammond Jr - GfC ( YSI ) [...]

So, the third album Synthetique of French electro trio Prototypes is out today in France. So how is Synthetique ? I have to admit, even though it's Prototypes third album, I haven't listened to Mutants Mediatiques or Tout Le Monde Cherche Quelque Chose A Faire , so I've treated it like a debut. I've already posted an awesome remix of Danse Sur La Merde by Dopewerewolf , which you can still find here . My point is, due to the remix, I've had somewhat high expectations of Synthetique [...]
