Like the picture eh? Pervert, listen to some music. I loved his remix of Shinichi Osawa, well he did it again, Robotaki 's remix of Chilly Gonzales You Can Dance . Loving the sound, I think I've got a new favorite remixer. Second is the Johnny Lawson remix of Mike Posner which was running stale in my inbox for a day before I came across it. Great remix, it's about time I posted something more upbeat right? And lastly, the Laubfrosch remix of [...]

nicholas lorden Big start, a new track from SebastiAn Enio which was featured in Ed Banger's Let the Children Techno . Big because I've always been a fan of SebastiAn but he released stuff like once a year. Probably more, I just don't pay enough attention, what a fan I am. Secondly, Moullinex 's Meow which is from his new EP Chocolate . It's great hearing stuff from Moullinex too! Make sure you check out the rest of the EP, great tracks [...]

Not my first inbox update, but I'll start numbering them. Starting off with the Death to the Throne remix of Lykke Li Paris Blue . I was going to congratulate D2TT for being on top of things with Lykke Li releasing her new album Wounded Rhymes next week and all, but this track isn't even from that album. More indie than ever, a b-side track from her single Get Some . While we're on the subject, you can get a stream of her whole album on Hype Machine . Second is the [...]

Well, the exam I was studying so hard for completely ignoring the blog and music, waste of time. Probably would've done the same without studying; overall poorly. Anyways, excuse my late Friday post, some tracks I found interesting from this week. Some tracks I came across while surfing Hype and some music blogs, totally reposts. First is the Why Are We Whispering remix of Martin Solveig featuring Dragonette and I guess Ish Hello . Great remix of a great track, I've always liked Dragonette and I've shamefully forgotten about Martin [...]

Came across this great mix by Stopmakingme for FADER , original post here . At the same time finding this mix, I also found out I lost all my old mixes, including the ones I made. Very unfortunate. So I decided to get some new mixes into my collection starting with this one. Included three tracks, check the bottom of the post for the tracklist and stream for the mix. First is the Marcus Marr remix of Shit Robot Take Em Up . Second [...]

Happy Chinese New Year! It's the year of the rabbit, those of you who are rabbits rejoice! I actually have no idea what happens when its your year. Didn't we all hear about The White Stripes breaking? Wait, does that mean Jack White can start his solo career? Starting off the big hit, the Miami Horror remix of Gorillaz . I really thought I posted this already, I even remember writing this description of the song, strangely enough I used the same description about another remix I posted earlier. The [...]

Would you slap me if I said 702s disco revival? Yea, I'd probably slap me too. Even though only one of the tracks in this post resemble something disco, it'll be the theme of this post. Starting off with the Richard X remix of Patrick Wolf . Very new wave or art rock, it makes me want to do a 902s movie marathon. Ah disco, the Adulture remix of Leonardus . Remember the Justice Fabric rejected mix? Sounds like something out of that, which is all awesome. [...]

Alicia Bock So I may or may not be in a weird mood for music, it might be because I'm dead tired. I kind of chose these tracks because they came off slightly weird to me. First track is the Glasnost remix of The Ting Tings . For some reason this track reminds me of old school Bag Raiders, I like that! Second track is one of the weird ones, the Vitalic remix of Amadou & Mariam Sabali . And no, not because [...]

scarabuss I totally thought I mentioned this already, but Gorillaz came out with a new album just before the new year called The Fall. It's pretty awesome because the whole thing was recorded on Damon Albarn's iPad during their Escape to Plastic Beach tour. There's some decent tracks in it, so make sure you check it out if you haven't already. You can download it here just by signing up to their mailing list. Second piece of news, Cold War Kids is coming out with a new [...]

This is the Bag Raiders I remember, Turbo Love is a great track. I might just have to post the original in another post, but this is definitely what I was expecting from their debut album, if you haven't heard Turbo Love yet because it wasn't in their new album, check it out here . A tiny bit toned down in the remix by Light Year , great remix of a great track. Second is an original from Moullinex , Love it is, Then which I'm [...]

Pretty exciting start to the year, got a couple possible submitted mixtapes and great tracks keep getting released. Getting back into things, a quick search got me onto these three tracks. First is the A-Trak remix of Robyn Indestructible from her most recent album Body Talk . Both the remix and the original are pure gold. The thing I actually love the most in the remix, among many other things, is after the intro once the beats start coming in, that transition sound which you hear more of during [...]

I woke up last Saturday, the 1st, and knew I was missing something. I couldn't figure it out all day, then it dawned on me... fuck! I didn't make a top track list for 2010. Whatever, I shamefully didn't post enough this year anyways which my new years resolution is to post more. I've at least gotten back into the habit of things towards the end of last year. Let's do this! Starting the new year off with tracks from... last year! First off is the Fred Falke remix of [...]

Well, these weren't hard to find and the whole year I didn't post these guys once which they dominated the years before, strangely they got a remix in last minute this year. Just in time for those year end lists! First off is the Soulwax remix of Late of the Pier Best in the Class . Although I'm still biased towards their huge remix of The Chemical Brothers, similar sounds as their other remixes, but god damn it's great to hear another remix coming from Soulwax. I thought they gave up [...]

So it's the end of 2010, out with the old and in with the new! First off, Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas, tomorrow! I will attempt to make a top 10 post for the end of this year, as I have the last two years, but it might be a top 5 list. I'll do something anyways. This isn't really an album review post, more like I'm talking about an album. Full out album review posts were stressful and really deterred me from writing them in the first place. I do want to bring [...]

Three words to describe this; fucking sick mix. I haven't posted a mix in a while, mainly because I haven't found any great mixes, this CHORDS mixape by MMMatthias totally blew me away. Not to mention that putting a mix on Soundtrack is amazing, what a great way to show off the playlist. Included three tracks from the mixtape I couldn't not include and following my usual limit. First off is the super funky Lorenz Rhode remix of Strip Steve Breakin' which, more of this please? Maybe [...]

Got three awesome remixes for you this wonderful Friday before the holidays, for people in school anyways who are already off partying it up. You workaholics? Possibility of partying at work? Maybe in the cubicle. Let's start off the Silicone Project remix of Futurecop! Dreams . The intro got me right away, maybe it's the awesome beat or the strangely off-tune sound of it, whatever it is I love it. Not to mention Futurecop! is amazing, they totally should've made the soundtrack for the original Tron besides the fact that that movie [...]

Three great tracks for you guys today, been listening to these all week. First is from the one and only Fred Falke , his remix of the Whitest Boy Alive Golden Cage which when I was listening to it strangely but at the same time not really reminded me of Saturday Night Fever. When I ended up Youtubing the famous dance scene from it I remembered how bad that movie actually was simply because it had absolutely no cultural relevance to me whatsoever when I watched it in my teens like what, 20 [...]

Moved to a new place once again and let me tell you, Bell Canada isn't an internet (or anything) provider you want to go with. Been without internet for more than a week, how ridiculous is that? So apologies for the lack of posts, please blame Bell and don't make the mistake I made. Quick post from me, I shouldn't even be posting music to you guys cause I don't have access to new music other than the worst source; radio. Anyways, suggested to me by my friend C who should be a writer on [...]

Have a good drunk Halloween? Let's start with the music. Rumor had it that The Third Twin was Daft Punk leaking rejected tracks for the Tron soundtrack. It sounds like Daft Punk. It looks like Daft Punk. It smells like Daft Punk. But is it Daft Punk? Nah, you're just a dreamer. Regardless, good marketing. Silently sitting back while people claim you're the most influential and successful French House duo. Anyways, I included one song from The Third Twin's released free album Homemade, Americ Family . [...]

The new Tron soundtrack is being released on December 7th, as we all know which was produced by Daft Punk . Before everyone goes wild, they were commissioned (although completely willingly and enthusiastic) to do a soundtrack for a movie. So everyone expecting full on French House madness will be utterly disappointed. I'm expecting a fantastic soundtrack, definitely not Daft Punk album #4. I know, it's totally a given but some people just don't get it reading some comments around the net. Didn't include any originals, but the NTEIBINT remix [...]
