Longwave are set to release their fourth album, Secrets Are Sinister , November 11th via Original Signal Recordings . The follow-up to 2005's (slightly disappointing) There's A Fire (RCA), the new album was recorded predominantly by the band in their Brooklyn studio with the help of Peter Katis ( The National , Tokyo Police Club ) at his Connecticut studio. There's also production by Dave Fridmann (2003's The Strangest Things ) on a few tracks including "Life Is Wrong." [...]

Keane have made a song from their upcoming album available for download: "Spiralling" (Radio Edit) [3:27] What do you think? It's a lot different from anything they've ever done before. Musically it's very mid '80s Duran Duran / David Bowie with its synth-horns spikes and chant-like "Oh!" refrain. I could do without the spoken-word bit at the 2:13 mark. Tom Chaplin has previously described the song as "a train of thought about human endeavor, built on an outrageous groove." [...]
