there a lot of reasons to love the silver jews . berman's brilliant wordplay has given us not only a fine collection of poetry , but five wonderful albums (soon to be six with the early 2008 release of lookout mountain, lookout sea). at #1 on my top 100 , one of those albums just happens to be my current all time favorite record- the natural bridge . and it is from this album's second track that sweden's magnus larsson takes his stage name, pet politics. speaking of march releases from my favorite bands... destroyer's 8th album, trouble in dreams , is being released by merge on 3/18. it's going to have a tough time living up to bejar's 2006 album, d estroyer's rubies , which is currently perched at #20 on my personal top 100 albums list. but if this new track is any indication, it should be a pretty good one. mp3: destroyer- foam hands
