check out bill's hair... awesome! album closer, "faith/void" is definitely my favorite song on sometime i wish we were an eagle right now. if you haven't heard the record yet, you might lose faith in the video below early on... because yes, the first 2-3 minutes are primarily comprised of one repeated line, "it's time to put god away". and noticing the song is almost 10 minutes long, you might begin to wonder whether it's worth your time to stick around to potentially hear it repeated for another 7-8 minutes. let me tell [...]

this came out of nowhere... but apparently, the flaming lips are headlining a free show on the national mall this sunday, april 19! the event, called the green apple festival , is in celebration of earth day and will be hosted by chevy chase and also feature performances from los lobos, dj spooky and moe. it kicks off at noon, so if anyone has a line on what time one should show up to catch the lips and miss all the other crap, it would be much appreciated.
