Remember when we told you about that cool new guitar exhibit at the Louisville Science Center? Well, they are having a spring concert series as part of the exhibit! Some great Louisville bands will be performing, and we are sorry we missed one of them last week. Apologies, Kri and Hettie. I had the chance to see The Black Belles at their first ever live performance at Third Man Records on Halloween of 2010 and was blown away. Since then they have released a solid full length album, and a personal favourite 73 with one Stephen Colbert . Very exciting news on the Forecastle front. Forecastle has announced a collaboration with My Morning Jacket on this year's event. In addition to headlining Saturday night of the festival, the band will collaborate with producers on festival sights, sounds and experiences, as well as charitable aspects of the event. And with AC Entertainment's involvement (think Bonnaroo), the remainder of the lineup is sure to be just as incredible. The magic happens July 13th-15th. Over 75 additional artists will be announced in the upcoming weeks, including the Friday and Sunday night headliners. Tickets will go on-sale January [...]

Heartless Bastards are going to be touring in support of their February 14th Partisan Records release "Arrow." Their February 13th performance in Louisville will be their last prior to their Valentine's Day release...an appropriate choice in light of the band's name.
