The ever present @rainnwilson on Twitter sent out the tweet above that Neutral Milk Hotel was going on tour as the full band.  Joy and jubilation followed.  My first thought was...FORECASTLE?!?!?!  The record was quickly fixed by Merge (@mergerecords), explaining to Rainn that the dates were Jeff Mangum solo shows.  We all can dream.  I know it will happen soon.  Until then, the solo show is pretty damn good. What a year for music! Especially that goofy junk I listen to. This is a very novel idea.  For $500, you can have a pass to every show at Headliners Music Hall from now until December 31, 2013.  This is the ultimate Christmas present (or present for yourself).  While $500 is not cheap, let's do the math.  If you just go to 3 shows a month (with tickets averaging $20 bucks), that is $60 a month, or $720 a year.  That is a savings of 30%.  The savings is even more if you go to more shows, which you know you will.  Think of it as an investment.  Full details below.... Beach House will be coming to Cincy's Bogart's on April 25, 2013.  It is the last day of their announced tour dates, so we are still holding on hope that a Louisville date may show up after.  I'm sure they picked up some more fans at Forecastle X.  That said, I'll drive up to Cincy to catch Beach House anytime.  No ticket info yet, but we'll be checking the Bogart's link above.  In the meantime, check out this video from their new album, Bloom, and all of the tour dates below. Twenty First Century Fox (TFCF) are something I've recently been really stoked about. Where do I begin? There's really nothing NOT to love about crazy, poppy noise rock that sounds ridiculously fun.
