Brandon Flowers brought Crossfire to the Kimmel audience last night.  Did he really have to bust out that damn vest again?!?  Flamingo was released yesterday in the U.S.

We can't even go into how f**king amazing Janette Beckman's work is.  We just caught her show in LA at Project Space. It was phenomenal.  Her career has covered some of the most important musical movements in history - the late 70's British punk, mod and 2-Tone scenes and birth of hip hop in the early 80's in NYC.  Beckman's snapshot of Adam Ant above is one of our favorites.  A very quitenessential young Ant in London, taken in 1980.  Shot just before Ant-Mania was about to [...]

Everyone has jammed to this groove at one time or another.  I remember living up in the Bay, and this track just rocking the clubs long before anybody actually knew who EMF was.  The band actually played the SF hood a few times and I'll always remember the EMF shows as some of the craziest, wildest live events to take place during the 90's.  They even spawned a huge pit, yes pit, at each show - who would have thought? Bryan Ferry recruited Supermodel Kate Moss for the cover of his upcoming album Olympia , due October 25th.  Apparently Ferry collaborated with Nile Rodgers on the record - among others, including his ex- Roxy Music band mates Phil Manzanera , Andy Mackay and Brian Eno .   Check out the video for You Can Dance below -

Mr. Flowers took the Alan Carr: Chatty Man stage in the UK for a perfromnace of Crossfire this past weekend. Flamingo hits U.S. shops next week. UK folks are able to pick up the album now. Looks like Flowers finally droped the tragic array of vests that he's been wearing lately, thankfully...

Love this track from The Go-Go's .  Probably runs second in our Go-Go's list next to Lust To Love , a pretty unbeatable song. We are drawn to their more "dark" leaning stuff vs. the overly cheery, happy, poppy material.  The below performance was shot in 1981 at Palos Verde High School in Southern California.  The show was later released on video under the title Totally Go-Go's Live .

And then there were three... the trimmed down version of Interpol released their video for single Barricade . The track is taken from their upcoming selt-titled fourth album.
