We finally have some news on the mysterious Southpaw Grammar reissue. It is not much, but BMG is now listing January 2009 as the release date. The above cover art has also been released. According to Morrissey fan site True To You , the release will also contain three unreleased tracks. Boz Boorer confirmed two of the tracks via an interview with Adam Ant's official site earlier this year. An excerpt from that interview is below - [...]

The Killers are featuring their new Stuart Price produced track Human up on their official site. The track will hit iTunes next week on Tuesday. Interesting and not sure what we think yet. There are lots of Price tinged-influences here for the taking. It feels like they will never quite reproduce the fury of their debut but we will wait to see exactly what Day & Age has to offer. Out of nowhere the Deftones announced a surprise show at Spaceland tonight. The show was announced yesterday via the band's blog and tickets went on sale and sold out this morning. According to the venue, a few tickets have been held for sale at the door tonight at 8:00pm on a first come, first served basis. If you can find a way in do it. What an intimate setting to see them in.

We are immensely excited about the upcoming Depeche Mode press conference to be held in Germany on October 6th. The band will announce all of their upcoming plans. Most likely the "official" new album details and information on a 2009 tour. Maybe a few surprises thrown in? Whatever the news is, we are just happy to have something new on the way from the band.
