Our favorite holiday of the year is approaching on April 17th, Record Store Day . Editors are planning a special vinyl release for their UK fans. The two-track white label will be limited to 1,000 copies. The previously unreleased track Last Day is the big draw here. We became massive fans of UK photographer Rankin thanks to some of his original work with Morrissey . Rankin's capture of Pete Doherty has always captivated us. Out of all the Doherty shots we've ever seen, this one seems to capture him in a mysterious light. A glimpse of Doherty the artist vs. Doherty the tabloid headline. We much prefer this one. A little 80's animation in this week's pick. Martin Fry and Mark White get the cartoon treatment via 1985 for our favorite ABC song (How To Be a) Millionaire . We've been spinning How To Be a...Zillionaire lately... Tower Of London remains our second runner up for favorite ABC jam....

In our favorite moment of the day... Of Montreal hit Yo Gabba Gabba today for an on-air performance of a little track called Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast . A jam (jam/toast, get it?) about what makes you feel better when you're sick. Is it freaky that we kinda love this?

Ted Leo And The Pharmacists took the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon stage last night to perform The Mighty Sparrow from their brand new album The Brutalist Bricks - cover art above. The Brutalist Bricks is out today, listen to the album in its entirety here .

Keith and Chris continue on with their usual video shenanigans in the new clip for Rules Don't Stop . The track is taken from the band's upcoming album Barbara , tentatively due June of this year. A great video as usual. Love the fact that Keith is randomly eating a chocolate chip cookie in the middle of the video. Lots of cool stuff to visually feast on:

Pure greatness - one of our favorites, covering another one of our favorites. R.E.M. put their spin on Chris Isaak's Wicked Game in Milan back in 1995. R.E.M. also included a cover of the song as part of their Christmas two-track 1995 fan club vinyl single.
