Los Angeles noise rockers Health are kicked off a tour yesterday with electro champs Crystal Castles for a pretty sizable US tour. Keep an eye out for Health during 2008, apparently they're supposed to be the next big thing or something. However, it is a "noise rock" band, something that will surely throw a lot of people off. I can safely say I've found my new favorite electronic artist. Decomposure is Caleb Mueller, the man behind the fantastic work of art that is Vertical Lines A . Similar to other artists such as Amon Tobin, Decomposure uses a variety of samples that are not necessarily very musical, but arranges them to create something beautiful. Although his material is nowhere near as industrial sounding as some of Tobin's work, it still has that nice glitchy sound that I love.
