Glasgow's finest Dam Mantle is finished with university and ready to show what he's really made of with another spread of incredible songs following his 'Grey' and 'Purple Arrow' discs last year. His brand new 'WE' EP gets a release on the freshly minted GETME! records on 25th July, the London collective taking the logical next step beyond their respected club nights and into releasing records. via Emerging electronic talent Slime releases another fine-tuned version of an earlier demo with the Vondelpark featuring '2 Player'. This latest Slime track alongside the recent ' Caffeine ' displays yet more of the London-based producer's effortless sense of melody and atmosphere, '2 Player' all crushed hand-claps, sleazy riffs and super high-end vocal screeches.
