You know those shows you go to to see the 'headliner' and you end up being exposed to some awesome support band you've never heard of. That's what happened at Jonathon Boulet's recent show at Harp Hotel Wollongong. Kyü is composed of Freya Berkhout and Alyx Dennison out of Sydney, Australia. From what we saw that night, they're an impressive unit, constantly moving about with an infectious kind of enthusiasm and stage presence. All the frenetic activity is out of necessity though; they're laying down the kind of tunes you'd expect from an ensemble, rather than a duo. [...]
Sorry, quick post. Plan B is a rapper from London's East End with Soul/Motown influences, 16Bit is Chase and Status' producer. Put them together and you get something familiar to what SebastiAn's Motor EP would have sounded like with a 6/8 feel.
