As of late, I've been pretty mysterious, aka not updating. Not to fret. I have slightly switched my focus from the tunez to the trendz. I, along with my partner Remy Walker, have launched WORK Collective . (If you didn't know, my name is Kevin O, hence the anagram WORK). Creating a new category of accessories, we've designed our own modern take on the 1950's sweater clips. A solution to "How can I jazz up my favorite collared pieces?!" if you will. We're still in the initial phases of development [...]
Though you probably either love or love to hate her, Lana Del Rey won't be off your radar anytime soon. On the bright side of things, at least now when you see a girl wearing an ensemble that you just can't put your finger on, you can use "Lana Del Rey" as a plausible excuse.
Though I'm not completely sold on Major Lazer (DJ Diplo and Switch) being better as a duo than solo acts, I'll still share this one because of Amber ala Dirty Projectors being in the track. You can download the song & a Bonde De Role remix for free here .

This song may or may not annoy the hell out of you. Don't take it too seriously and after the second or third listen, you might have a change of heart. That, or it'll be stuck in your head for the day. Accepting hate mail.
Still one of my favorite folksters, Fanfarlo has just released a new video for "Deconstruction" off their upcoming album.
You know those random songs you have shuffled into your playlist just for the hell of it? The ones you are debating whether or not are legit enough to not skip in front of your friends. Yeah, I'm still on the edge with this one, but it's definitely worth at least one listen.
Florence and the Machine just unveiled their new video for "Shake It Out." It is the band's first single from their highly anticipated new album "Ceremonials," which comes out November 1st on Universal Republic.

I've mentioned this before, but I'll reiterate it. I'm a seasonal music listener. Spring/Summer are for the upbeat jamz, and Fall/Winter is reserved for all that wonderful dream pop. There's a lot of "WTF, HUH?" going on in Chromeo's latest video for "When The Night Falls" featuring Solange. But, it's nice to see the less important Knowles sister doing something other than ruining covers.
Look at that little smiley face U in "Yoü." Ain't that so kewt and groundbreaking? New video from Lady Gaga. I can only imagine what it would be like if TRL were still around with all these 6+ minute videos. RIP TRL.
