The website fuzz-mag.be is coming with another compilation this time featuring some of the best dubstep and drum&bass exclusively from Belgium. With the title being "The Dark Edition" I feared to hear a lot of skrillex-like grim sounding stuff, but to my surprise the tunes represent a much bigger quality with a lot of deep, but not ear-upfucking, tracks. So Untitled! has launched a brand new record label called Level.01 Recordings (referring to the smaller room at the famous Untitled!-parties). What the hell am I still bringing up? Right? Well I heard this remix some time before the original became popular with the big audiance here in Belgium and I immediately fell in love with it. The original is amazing but his remix adds just a small subtle dance flavour to it. Vocals haven't been touched at all which is the way it should be. Little Dragon was a new name for me, but her voice ... not so new. That's probably because she is the featured vocal artist on SBTRKT's track "Wildfire". Reading a lot about her music now and days but haven't got around checking her album, but it's most definitely on my to-hear list! " Vuurwerk " is dutch for Fireworks and that's probably the most I can tell you about these guys. Whetever these guys try to stay mysterious or I just didn't do my homework properly this new EP 'plus' is a real beauty.
