![Daft Punk – Random Access Memories [Album Review]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4960130_lg.jpg)
" by some margin Daft Punk's best album in a career that's already redefined dance music at least twice. It is, in short, a mind blower. " - Q Magazine . " an exciting journey, and one that, for all its musical twists and turns, has its feet planted on the dancefloor. " - The Independent " It felt like a major event before its release: more incredibly, it still does once you've heard it. " - The Guardian [...]

Whilst searching for Ceefax music that was comparable to some of the material on Daft Punk's 'Random Access Memories', as the basis of a joke (LOLOLOL), nobody outside of the U.K would get (LOLOLOL ), I stumbled across this.... The video title is.. " BBC ceefax music Can you identify it? What a funky tune! ". And indeed, it is a funky tune, thankfully, somebody did identify the tune. It's ' Sunburned Hip ' by a Japanese funk musician by the name of Himiko Kikuchi and if you [...]
Not long till Daft Punk's ' Random Access Memorie s' is released, due to not that surprising circumstances you can now hear the album in full on iTunes. Just click here or here and if that doesn't work just go into iTunes and hit Daft Punk's artist page. Or, just listen in the player below... so many options. Correct Order by Rodrigo Lizarraga on Grooveshark Is it any good? Well, lets be honest . It's too [...]
![Vitalic – Fade Away [Video]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4923875_lg.jpg)
" Fade Away " is one of the better songs on Vitalic 's slightly confusing " Rave Age " album. The single release is now backed with a very well good video, which was directed by Romain Chassaing. It has more than a small nod to Quentin Tarintino's " Pulp Fiction " and will no doubt be the sort thing that everybody will share on there facebook feeds today. . The EP is out now , backed with remixes from N00b and C2C. [...]

" Where I Belong " is the second video to be taken from Keenhouse 's second album, " Four Dreams ". The video was produced by Shinya Sato of Crystal ( not the football player ) who had previously made the rather entertaining videos for Strip Steve's ' Breakin ' and Shinichi Osawa & Paul Chamber's ' Singapore Madness '. So, you know even if you don't like the song, it'll be nice to watch. But, you will like song because it's great and then you should go [...]

I can do a punchline here which references one of their songs*, I won't. Phoenix, the band from France who had been around for quite sometime and then conquered America (aka The World) with ' Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix ' and deservedly so, it's an album that's easy on the ears and very catchy. They return with their most anticipated album to date, ' Bankrupt !' and I was quite excited to hear it. Then, I heard the first single, ' Enterainment ' and well, I didn't like it. This is mainly because it heavily has this [...]
Mighty Mouse has added his infectious disco touch to Keljet 's forthcoming release ' Love Of A Life '. The single is due in May and will be released by On The Fruit records. And in a rather generous fashion, this remix is being given away as a free download. So, remember to at least say 'thanks' on the soundcloud waveform-thingy or you could say, 'trombone time'. Whatever makes you happy. Tweet This Post

Scottish producer Grum , perhaps one of the few producers from that blog-haus era to have properly come from it and actually gone on to be known in the world outside of it is returning with his second album this year. Get this though, the first single on it doesn't sound 802s. The shock. OH GOD. HEARTBEATS. Y U NO MAKE IT AGAIN? I've recovered from the shock, phew. Because, it still sounds like a Grum record. I can highlight this quite easily actually. It has [...]

I'm aware that Marcus Marr 's ' The Music ' was released a month ago, well, I wasn't till recently. It was recommended to me with the glowing praise of, " the best nu-disco thing I've heard in ages ". I'm not sure what 'nu-disco' is these days, or if I knew what it meant in the first place... I knew what the person meant though, it has that creativity and playfulness originally associated with the genre a couple years ago. It holds it's length of 8 minutes rather well too and the strings bit makes for a delightful surprise. [...]

So, the 'leak' of Daft Punk's ' Get Lucky ' that was circulating yesterday turned out to be the real thing. I have to admit, I was one of those who wasn't convinced by it, oh well . It's alright and of course, it's nice to have them back. But, the song seems to have suffered a little from being structurally butchered for the radio edit ( I hope that's the case anyway ) and that synth so-lol at the end, jesus. =/ I really hope there aren't [...]

The DFA produced ( ooooh, trendy ) Pulp single, ' After You ' is receiving a special record store day release ( ooooooooh, that is trendy ) as Soulwax ( fap fap fap, trendeeeeee! ) have only gone and remixed it. For the most part, I really like it . But, that's because I like Soulwax loads, even if they did ' tick a couple of boxes ' on this one. I'm not sure how much it would appeal to Pulp fans though. . It's out on Saturday . [...]
Canadian man of mystery Hemingway is set to release a rather fantastic single on the Brilliantine label quite soon. It's called ' Ace Neptune ' and it's backed with an stunner of a remix from his pal Cyclist too. If this release came out on DFA or something, everybody would be hailing it as the greatest thing of all time, possibly . Just get following some of these guys so you can be kept up to speed with it's release. It'll be worth it, honest. In the meantime, his remix of [...]

It seems that many people did not take the warning of Harold Bishop's original 'Funk Ad' post . Even though the official level of teaser material for the forthcoming Daft Punk album has been really great in all honesty. We've had a rather nice collection of interviews with people that worked on the album and the whole teasing the first single at Coachella was done in a way that should have pleased most fans ( y'know. the ones who aren't mega impatient ) and, a high quality version of this teaser was broadcast in advert break, in [...]

One day mom, Imma gonna be a soundcloud hero. Soundcloud plays . It's weird to say it, but, they have a fair bit of power over an artists career, especially if you make the dance music. Hell, even Radio 1 have little chats on-air about it and tracks get played more because of it... that's a pretty nice career boost, right? Sometime around last year I started noticing a worrying trend, which I had noted before. Only this time, it was people whose music I actually didn't detest. They were getting incredible [...]

' Peanuts ' is the special bonus track Breakbot has made for the American release of his debut album, ' By Your Side '. It's very reminiscent of the early 'chop and cut' style Breakbot. It's like his track, ' Summer Party ' just got a nice update and that's no bad thing at all. ' Peanuts ' はBreakbot のデビューアルバム、 , ' By Your Side ' アメリカ版に収録され ているボーナストラッ ク。彼の初期を思い出 す様な、チョップとカ ットが特徴で、正に ' Summer Party ' のアップデート版って な感じ。是非チェック してみてくだされ。 The album + bonus track can be purchased here . German producer Siriusmo rarely, if ever, disappoints. His debut album, Mosaik very much still holds its own and we genuinely believe it'll be one of those albums that is eventually considered a classic. He's returning on June 14th with ' Enthusiast ', if you are one of those subscribed to Monkeytown Records mailing list the news came accompanied with a somewhat amusing message. "After eighteen years, elaborate and outrageously expensive recording with a ful-size Czech symphony orchestra, Siriusmo decided to reject it and to retire with enthusiasm. This was followed by moments of euphoria, [...]

Daft Punk are back. This isn't news to anybody, I know. The duo announced their return with a staggering 16 seconds of audi o from their new album during an advert break for Saturday Night Live. If you missed this momentous event, you can view it in all it's glory, below. So, lets start with the good we can take from this MAMMOTH clip. Namely, it sounds a fair bit like a Nile Rodgers production, which is good, that's probably why [...]

Canadian producer Tiga is returning with his new single, ' Plush '. It's released on December 17th via Different Recordings. It's definitely a classic Tiga style track and an insanely catchy one at that. Our favourite bit of the track is the bit where he chants, " Ahh, Ahhh Tiga, Tiga ". Not many people could pull-off a chant to themselves in a song, however, Tiga can. There is something quite comforting about his return and him still being quite good at what he does. Have a listen... カナダ人プロデューサ ー、 Tiga がニューシングル ' Plush ' を引っ提げてカムバッ ク。Different Recordings から今月17日のリリー です。いかにもTiga [...]

Calvin Harris . EDM . Skrillex . EDM . Deadmau5 . EDM . Steve Aoki . EDM . Tiësto . EDM . Zedd . Man Drawer . I totally love EDM , it's like this magical abbreviation that makes everything alright. Yum, yum, yum, EDM . Hi there, I'm Thad Hansen. I'm guest-writing here today for Too Many Sebastians, take a seat and enjoy the vibes. I'm a veteran of the genre, was hooked on EDM since I heard [...]

' Steve McQueen ' is the 15th track ( ok, slight exaggeration ) to be taken from M832s album, ' Hurry Up We're Dreaming ' and turned into a single. This means remixes, to save you alot of time, it's backed with four remixes, one of them is really good. That one remix is the one SomethingALaMode have done, somehow they've made it sound more Eighties and as an added bonus, they've thrown in some particularly dramatic strings. It's something you can tell they spent a fair bit of time on, it shows and you should purchase it [...]
