Joe Claussell 's 'Classic Remix' of Ashford & Simpson 's "Bourgié Bourgié" is 11 minutes of disco string heaven. Fans of the tangoterje edits will no doubt appreciate this one a whole bunch. Ashford & Simpson - Bourgie Bourgie (Joe Claussell's Classic Remix) Tweet This Post

Birdie's " Movin To That " is actually Siriusmo. Released in 2001 on Kontor records. Not sure how many people know this. The same vocalist also appears on his track " U Again " . It's a good track if you liked his earlier stuff. Birdie - Movin To That iTunes for high-quality. Tweet This Post

It's quite hard to properly recommend Fantastic Plastic Machine to people as his discography is quite schizophrenic . " Take Me To The Disco " is featured on quite a few releases, the Malibu Mix is a bonus track on the American release of his album " Beautiful " which is probably the most accessible of all his albums. It's disco music which is quite naive ( in a positive way ) with some nice bossanova and house touches. It can be picked up on Amazon second-hand for practically nothing too... [...]

Trying to think of a reason for posting Raw Man's " Lovers " other than it's really good. Hmmmm... I guess it being really good will have to do. I hope he returns to house music one day. He's currently got a band project called Wolf Courtesy, it's not quite my thing. But, if you wondered what he's been up to... clickety-click . Raw Man - Lovers Tweet This Post

Clark seems to be on some kind of creative rampage at the moment, and I'm really enjoying it ( check this from last week ). There will be a new EP released in September and it's being decribed as being 'his most dancefloor offering to date ' . I'm not sure what that really means. However, I do like it when he just messes around with a melody. " Fantasm Planes " is the first offering on show from it and it's quite playful electronic fun. [...]

The enigma that is Allen Walker has done a good/mental rework of Yuksek's "Say A Word", maybe if you nag him enough he'll enable the download on his soundcloud.... or, maybe listen to it now before it vanishes :V. Tweet This Post

Pharao Black Magic are giving away their new single " Hermes " which features the vocal talents of fellow Swiss artist Ghostape. The track is very much in the style of the remix they did of Edwin van Cleef's " Triton " , so it's quite fitting for the summer. The track appears on the new compilation from Kitsune and is part of an ep due to be released on Future Classic quite soon. Tweet This Post

The press release for Jan Driver' s " Peaker " starts with this intro, ' When discussing producers with consistently good outputs, few compare with Jan Driver '. And all I really thought was, ' Yep, can't disagree with that '. If you like loads of handclaps... get ready. Handclap heaven awaits. The arpeggio sprinkled 'rework' from Action Flower might actually be a little bit better (for me) though... very nice indeed. Out now via Boys Noize Records . iTunes . [...]

Sebastiaan Vandevoorde is Moonlight Matters , a disco producer hailing from Belgium who used to be a member of VillA. Over the years we've featured a fair few remixes from him. His one of Hercules & The Love Affair is particularly good and they've seemed to have acknowledged that by providing the vocals for the title track of his first EP, " Come For Me " a track that doesn't hold back on the 802s pop production. There are two other originals, which you can check here [...]

The Presets are back, they are still good ( well, the new single suggests very good indeed ) and the next album, Pacifica is out on September 14th ( pre-orderable in lots of formats now ). Excited? You bet. Alex Metric remix of this is apparently on the way too. . You can sign up to a mailing list here and get a Finger Prince & Light Year remix of the track ( it wasn't quite [...]

Ben Macklin is a London based producer/musician who is also one half of the massively underrated Cassette Club. He just sent us an email to let us know he's done a remix of Florence & The Machine's " No Light, No Light " which was rather nice of him. It's a free download too.. New Cassette Club material is also on the way and if you aren't familiar with them.... [...]

Clark will be releasing a series of free downloads from his ' Iradelphic Sessions ' the first track is ' Mfb Skank ' which he describes as being; “(It) was recorded alongside Iradelphic in an onset of modular dementia. It wouldn't have worked on Iradelphic so it's been slinking its way into my live show instead. I was going to put a ragga acapella over it but thought it would ruin the texture. Props to anyone that manages to pull it off over this instrumental version though! The more aggro the better I reckon.” [...]

Rex The Triangle shows a softer and somewhat bouncier synth-pop side to his production on this new remix he's done of Delta Spirit's "California ". It's for a remix competition of some sort, if you want to show some support, vote for him . Once again, you can grab the download by liking his facebook page which seems like a fair trade. Mix Chopin is a 20-year old producer/DJ from Toronto who we like very much and have heaped tons of praise on over the years. He's got some pretty sweet tracks coming out soon and he was kind of enough to do an interview and mixtape for us (featuring one of these new tracks). So, Mix Chopin even though we've featured you loads and you were one of our 'tracks of the year' for "Bliss", we've actually never interviewed you, bit strange right? Yeah, It’s about time! [...]

I:Cube's 'M' Megamix is easily already one of my favourite albums of the year and this extended version of 'In Alpha' is probably going to be one of my favourite tracks of the year... uh, you do need to hear this and then own it as it's ridiculously good. Tweet This Post

The 14th Minute are a disco-house duo from Sydney, Australia. They get their name from the fact they are twins and were born 14 minutes apart, awwww.. ain't that cute? They are giving away their appropriately titled track, " Disco Record " which has received a rather good 'Disco Boogie' treatment from Kreap . Go grab these now. Tweet This Post
