J.J. Abrams‘ Bad Robot is in negotiations for the rights to Stephen King‘s bestselling 2011 novel 11/22/63. The deal is being done through Warner Bros TV. The plan is to adapt the book as a TV series or miniseries, likely for cable. 11/22/63 centers on Jake, an unassuming divorced English teacher who stumbles upon a time portal that leads to 9/9/1958 and goes on a quest to try and prevent the assassination of John F. Carl's Jr. is testing a Pop Tart Ice Cream Sandwich in Southern California. According to the menu posting, the hand-scooped strawberry Pop Tart ice cream sandwich is $1.49. Dependent on feedback the cool treat will launch storewide later this year.

Tonight a 180-foot-tall Mike Wazowski from the upcoming Disney Pixar film Monsters University made the official announcement that Disney will be keeping three theme parks open for 24 hours on Memorial Day Weekend . The huge sphere of Epcot’s Spaceship Earth was transformed from Disney Parks icon to Disney Pixar “Eye-con”. Wazowski, the loveable green-bodied, one-eyed monster, joins best pal James P. Sullivan (“Sulley”) in the prequel to “Monsters, Inc.”, this summer as college students with hopes of becoming Scarers.

McDonald’s Japan has created a special “ potato holder ” that enables drivers to enjoy fries without having to precariously balance them between their knees or take both hands off the wheel. Universal Pictures has set Gary Shore's Dracula for release on August 8, 2014. Luke Evans is attached to play the title role. Said to explore the origin of the character, Dracula weaves vampire mythology with the true history of Prince Vlad the Impaler. It seeks to depict Dracula as a flawed hero in a tragic love story set in a dark age of magic and war. Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless scripted the most recent draft of the screenplay and Michael De Luca will serve as producer.
